Losing our beloved cat, Momo, was excruciatingly painful, but the way it was handled here really helped so much. The doctor and staff were so considerate, patient and compassionate.The way they handled her 'final' appointment was so incredibly thoughtful. The vet stayed with us when we wanted, and left us alone with her when we wanted, and I got to hold her in my arms during the entire procedure. We were not rushed in the slightest, we were left in the room afterwards, and were given the choice to stay in there until we were ready to leave. The room also had a door that led directly outside, so that when we were done we could leave through that instead of walking through the clinic.The room where the procedure was done had been decorated so thoughtfully. Soft lighting, comfortable chairs, and a little hiding spot for the cats if they choose to use it.We really feel like she was in the best hands possible. And the thoughtful gestures, like sending us a card signed by everyone at the clinic, along with mementos from Momo, like her paw print and nose print and a lock of her hair. They are treasured by us, we are so grateful to have them.I absolutely had a 5-star experience, and would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet.

If I could give zero stars I would! Brought my dog here for a check up and vet quoted me triple the costs of another vet I took my dog to for a second opinion. This vet told me my dog needed dental surgery when in fact did not. They quoted me 3 grand for! If you want to be taken advantage of come here!

Would give more stars if I could DrDavies is truly amazing. I have NEVER had a vet give such long appointments and follow up calls. Spends all the time needed addressing all your concerns. Gives you multiple options with prices for treatment plans and goes over the pros and cons of the options in detail. My dog was suffering from allergies for years, every vet said it's life long and there's nothing to fix it, one appointment with DrDavies and we had a plan in place and fixed the problem almost instantly!! I will never go to another vet again!!

Clinic is so ridiculous and a bunch of crooked people. Don’t ever bring your animals here for any type of care. Calling animal services because we didn’t bring our dog in for a “weight check” she is a 9 year old chihuahua, has some issues with her teeth which they told us upon her original apt with these crooks that she would maybe require a cleaning. NOT THAT SHE NEEDS TEETH TAKEN OUT OR DENTAL WORK. is specifically what they told us. When we went in originally. Animal services closed the file and we didn’t realize the apt for the weight check was today and because we “didn’t show up” they called animal welfare services telling me they’re very concerned for our dog as she NEEDS the dental work done. Another thing they told us it would cost us upward of 1000$ to fix our dog where as I called another clinic and they told us specifically that it would cost us 340$ to fix her.

I’m so happy we decided to bring our new dog here. They’re kind, knowledgeable, and the whole experience was comfortable for both pup and human. We’re lucky to have them in the community.

We had an emergency with our bunny and couldn't get an appointment with our regular vet. When we called and explained our situation they thanks us for calling and made room for us immediately. As soon as we arrived they jumped into action to save our girl while we prayed in the parking lot. We pestered them foe updates constantly and they obliged with kindness every time. I can't say enough wonderful things about all the staff at Martindale. Thank you for saving our little Emmy!
