Magathan Dental Centre

I had a traumatizing experience at a different dentist that resulted in a visit to Emergency. I ended up being unable to tolerate any dental procedures. My friend told me about Dr. Magathan and said that she offers sedation. I made an appointment and walked into an inviting waiting room with a huge beautiful fish tank. I was given a warm welcome from the front desk staff and before long met Dr. Magathan. We talked through my concerns and came up with a plan that I felt I could deal with. The procedure was done under sedation and I couldn't have been happier.I am now able get most of my treatment done normally and have the confidence in knowing that I have a back-up, should I need it.

Dr. Magathan is an outstanding dentist. Her office charges perhaps 10% higher than the Alberta standard, but as a patient you get 50% more quality of service. I am always in the chair within minutes of arrival. Dr. Magathan has amazing dental skills. Completely pain free and the results speak for themselves. Real attention to detail. Well worth the small extra cost for top notch dentistry. The front desk staff are really friendly and accommodating.I was a patient of Dr. Magathan for years, but when relocated for work for several years to the USA and then to Calgary, I have had three (recommended) dentists that don't come close to matching her skills.

Due to ptsd and dental trauma I haven't been to a dentist in 20+years until I found this clinic.Front desk was warm and welcoming. Dental assistant was beyond amazing and had the perfect approach to my fears and panic attack.The dentist was excellent at assisting me in referrals and information regarding future dental work. She was very gentle and very understanding concerning my fears and dental needs.I strongly encourage anyone to give them a visit for all your dental needs.

Dr. Magathan and Staff are outstanding. I fear the dentist but once in the seat I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Magathan especially if you are an anxious person.

Dr. Magathan has been my dentist for nearly 20 years, I continue to go back as she is an incredible dentist. She is gentle, kind, and will always listen to your concerns in order to determine the best treatment options. I know that when I am in her care I will be well taken care of. Never have I felt more confident in my dentists abilities. Dr. Magathan also takes the time to help make you feel at ease and seems to always be striving to make your appointment as comfortable as possible.My experiences with the staff from reception to hygienists have all been incredible. The receptionists make an effort to find the best time that fits our schedules. The dental assistants have always been incredibly nice and very calming and accommodating. The hygienists are top notch, I don't think it would be possible to find better hygienists.Highly recommend!

It’s always a lovely experience at Magathan Dental Centre. Ever since changing Dentist gosh I’m guessing 10 years now, my fear of visiting a dental office are far behind me. The staff are welcoming, cheerful and Dr. Magathan is one incredible gift. Thanks for such good, thoughtful care. Sharon M

Dr Magathan is fabulous; I’ve seen her for 30+Years , starting as a youth. I used to be very afraid of going to the dentist but through the years and the kindness of Dr Magathan I can go with very little anxiety. I recently chipped a lower front tooth & was able to get an appointment the next day ; and the repair was completed at that time. Now I’m smiling for so many reasons.
