First when we walked in and bought our flooring the staff was very helpful but because were not installers and had questions about the particular flooring system the helpfulness stopped there. I remember one conversation going like this This is what I have for stairs

Four (4) years of existing in a disastrous renovation of a much needed and thought-out 'healthy' 1350sq ft customized home that subsequently can not be fixed due to poorly installed porcelain tile by John, has come to an end.False documentation, misrepresentations, ignored requests for remediation by Victor Fayant; and no assistance from the Tile & Marble Association of Canada, or the BBB, added insult to injury.Only the court system came through, with some assistance from my home owners' insurance policy. There is only a small sense of justice!Reimbursement to address the issues caused by The Flooring Store/John is inadequate, and I will never be able to restore my well-being/quality of life after sustaining three falls on the new porcelain tiles installed by The Flooring Store.As of August 19, 2022, BC Small Claims Court issued the MAXIMUM judgement permitted against The Flooring Store and Victor Fayant from Spruce Grove, AB. If you value your health and the safety/integrity of your home, don't deal with this company. Buyer Beware!

I was in a bind finding flooring for my home that I was selling. I came to the flooring store to see what I can do and Mr. Victor Fayant helped me find the right product and had it to me fast. Amazing customer service and amazing company. I would recommend this store to everyone.

I went in today to see what I can use on my hardwood floors as they are always streaky. I have 2000 sq. Ft. Of hardwood to wash. They suggested I spay them with a spray bottle and wipe with a cloth. This would take hours! The salesman suggested I use bleach and water or Mr. Clean and water. I walked out and went to a different place where I received all the help and info I needed.

We tried to buy flooring from Vic but he doesn't like when you ask questions.Just shut up and pay. No breakdown of floor price and installation charges! Just this price and you have to be doing the floors in the entire house or he is not interested. Terrible treatment of people!!

After a few quotes around the area they offered the best one, great selection. Did the install in a few hours and it looks amazing even after 5yrs (for my retail business). We loved the flooring so much we bought the same vinyl planking for our home, came fast and still love it.

Didn’t show up for installation day and no notice given - found out when I called to report worker was a no show that Vic knew the guy couldn’t make it but he didn’t call to advise beforehand. When the flooring was installed, I was left with a mess to clean up and they didn’t install the tile to carpet trim. We’re paid in full but did not complete job. We made repeated calls and got a different excuse each time. We were even told by Vic that he and his father would come the next day to finish the job but again, no one showed up. When a worker finally did show up, he didn’t know how to finish the job and when he left he took with him trim we had already paid for! Job started in Feb and it’s now end of Sept and still no call from Vic about our job. We ended up having to pay another company to complete for us.

The owner of this company Victor is a complete douche bag! His customer service skills are seriously lacking .. Would not recommend this company to no one! He will jack up the prices and try to screw You in any way He can!! When You call Him on His BS rather than discuss it He just hangs up on You! A 1 star rating is too good for this company!! The contractors that came to our house did do a good job, except they damaged a very expensive dresser of ours by placing an acetone soaked rag on it and it completely ate the stain off! Very disgusted with this owner..
