This new building just opened up in September of 2017. It truly is a remarkable building. I love how open the space is when you first walk in, and the music classrooms are so nice and cozy to be in. Looking forward to come here in two years for music school! Check it out if you haven't already!

Such a cool building! Lots of staircases, viewing areas, seating areas. And there are elevators if you don’t want to or can’t take the steps

This is a great building to study and work in. I went to this university and even though I wasn't in this building specifically, it was one of my favorite places to go to study. They have lots of artwork everywhere, and lots of musical talent you can often hear since it's the music and art building. There are lots of floors, stairs and places to explore and study in a calming environment. It's got pretty good access to get into the rest of the campus through its pedway. The only downside is it can be quite loud and busy when the musical performances are happening. If you don't mind studying in that or with headphones, it is great.

Snazzy new building. Great for flashy camera angles! Too bad the experience for Fine Art students here is so bureaucratic and annoying. Imagine spending an hour or more of your day every day for four semesters validating and , invalidating your access key to mandatory spaces that you’re paying to use , frequently getting locked out of these spaces and then paying hundreds of dollars in fees for the fact that you have a key . I might add that these access keys don’t actually make the space more secure than an individual code. Dozens of students have complained about this and what were told by administrators is that “sorry, this issue goes higher up than us” . So what this tells me is the higher ups have almost not ear in student or faculty concerns at all. The members of security while most of them are cordial some of them are downright abusive and will literally insult and penalize you ... I’m a student here not a criminal... terrible experiences with some power hungry security guards ...Getting a light turned on and off or finding a mop requires many levels of bureaucracy for some reason ... expect the entire building to be rented out on a nightly basis to many different external parties (which is actually nice that the full space is getting utilized) but yet extreme difficulty in students showing work, planning events, etc. Are you serious ? The priority I’m sorry to say is obviously going to the highest paying customers rather than the students . I guess student work doesn’t look good in the background of wedding photographs or corporate congregation or whatever... expect passionate , hardworking instructors who you’re lucky to get a five minute conversation in with the entire week because there are so many students in the class. Sometimes I don’t even go to class because literally nothing happens. I can honestly say every practical skill learned can be learned on a YouTube tutorial, but a general artistic sensibility and thought process was absorbed via the refined experiences of instructors. If anything benefitted me in this program it was a personal discipline to excel and meet deadlines, reading library books (the fine arts library has a great selection) independent researching, and the lovely company of classmates. So I suppose it is a worthwhile experience but this institution to me is kind of a joke.

Avoid large jobs. One of their printers only prints blanks. The other one prints fine. When I told the tech desk ppl they're like it's prob just your print job.Except-I printed one of the sets on the other printer & it was fine. Didn't get my money back yet or time.

Features a 415 seat theatre (Triffo), a 250 seat music hall (Andrews) a 200 seat black box, and a Gallery (Mitchell), all tied into the spectactular main atrium.Triffo Theatre is maybe the nicest theatre in the City now, and the Betty Andrews Recital Hall is very good too. I have yet to attend a show in the Black Box, but I assume it comes as advertised. (ha ha)The gallery is smaller than I had hoped, but the walls of the atrium itself are covered with lots and lots of wonderful art pieces. Perfect for wandering pre-show or during intermission!Inspiring. Every time I visit, I feel like attempting some art of my own.

What a beautiful display or architectural design and art. The Allard hall has a very clean feel and the natural lighting makes it feel like summer every day.
