I’ve been wanting to try Afghan Kitchen for a while now and we just happen to be in the area so we thought we’d take the chance to try it out.It is so beautiful on the inside and it just feels so welcoming (and has a home feeling). Absolutely gorgeous on the layout and decorations.As for the menu, i am amazed at the variety of foods and the number of items they have on their menu. I love that they have GF and Vegan options available as well. Due to my dairy-free dietary issue, this really helps. I generally love Afghan food so this was a real treat to try out. The portion of the dish we got was actually pretty good and enough for two people.I wasn’t a fan of the service. The staff weren’t rude or anything - they were friendly and lovely. Just felt they weren’t as welcoming compared to the staff at their second restaurant (Zarak on main at in Vancouver).Overall it was a good experience.

I was blown away. My friend brought me here for lunch to try Afghani food for the first time. Each bite was so delicious and full of flavour. I loved the cultural atmosphere, the paintings and traditional dining area where so beautiful. I am ready to go back!

** Halal Food**Great customer service along with great test of food. Nice and clean dining area. Fairly big parking lot.Love inside atmosphere and decorations.Medium range of food price.Highly recommend.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been. Every dish was full of flavour, every item was cooked to perfection. You can tell they use the best ingredients. Waiters were very friendly and nice. The whole dining experience deserves more than 5 stars.

This was our first time and it did not disappointed us, the food had the best flavors we ate in awhile . We had the eggplant dip, it was very delicious, the Brussels sprouts were soooo good . We had the mantu and lamb kebab platter both very tasty. Their selections of wine is pretty good and they have very good coctails , i had the rum bowl, it was really good.We will definitely come back .

One of the best dine in experience I have ever had. The customer service and hospitality was really amazing. Servers were really helpful and knowledgeable about every dish that they served. The food taste and quality was amazing. Dessert are to die for. I would highly recommend to visit and make sure to make reservations in advance.Thank you for serving us such a delicious meal.

A very authentic restaurant with a cute story behind it(as mentioned in the menu). We ordered kebabs, a vegetarian dish(server’s recommendation) and afghani chicken. Taste was amazing.My group thought that it was on a bit expensive side, but we all had a great time. Ambience is not like any other traditional restaurant, wonderful it was.

Great place to try something different! We sat at the tables on the floor. You sit on a cushion at a low table. They also have regular tables. The staff was attentive and explained the dishes well. The chicken kabobs had alot of flavor. The way the cook the potatoes was unique and tasty. The spices they used will make your tastebuds really salivate. The platter for two was delicious. Would like to come back and try some more dishes. I can see why this place is rated high. Delicious!

The food was delicious and tasty. The server was nice and friendly.The atmosphere was quite authentic. Ask to sit in the carpeted area.Cocktail drinks were good and different, try the Gulrang Rose cocktail, it was aromatic and refreshing
