Hopewell Medical Centre and Walk-in Clinic

First time visiting and Dr. Rofail was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made me feel very comfortable. Did everything I needed on site so I didn’t need to go find a labs afterwards. Reception was also very patient and nice. This was supposed to be a one time visit but the service has made me want to return in the future.

I would give them a 0 if I could. My husband goes here. They’re so unprofessional. Not clear communication. They need to work on improving the booking system because having an appointment is worthless you still have to wait for a great amount of time. Don’t go here, save yourself from going through a lot of stress!

Although the doctor might very well be knowledgeable on the material, it feels to me she has a conflict of interest with the attached pharmacyEvery time I have visited this clinic, I have been prescribed multiple medications immediately before I’ve even finished explaining my issue(s). These have been issues where I’ve given them 1-4 days to resolve on their own and have gone to my own family doctor who said to just give it rest, take anti-inflammatory OTC medication like ibuprofen and at home care. I had knee pain and was prescribed an anti inflammatory, muscle relaxant, a two in one as well as the advice that I can continue training. When bringing this up with my doctor, he said this was completely overkill which I intuitively understood hence asking their opinion.It seems she is also constantly in a rush for the next client; she speaks quickly, barely explains her reasoning and seemingly rushes you out.I can only hope this review is used to improve because this place is very well kept, staff seem polite in spite of the other reviews and it is very convenient for me.I, however, will cease visiting this clinic for the time being.I feel there is an unnecessary pushing of medication for monetary gain instead of simply providing me more useful advice. This review can easily be taken as an unknowledgeable client who thinks they knows more than the doctor but I assure you I regard doctors to a high level and this just does not sit right with me.

I had spots on my body and went there. I saw the Ginger hair female Dr (with a skirt in the pics) . Then I went for a control visit with her. The spots did not disappear and at the control she asked me to see a dermatologist. I asked for a referral and she refused. How can you leave a patient like that? I was New in Toronto and did not have a family Dr.I went in another clinic and the Dr quickly gave me a referral, I did not even have to ask. I'm wondering if the lady was mean or what was wrong with her.

Dr.Mary is very knowledgable and a good doctor. Our previous family physician retired in 2018 and we were fortunate to find Dr.Mary as his replacement. The wait time at the previous doctor's clinic was at least 3 to 4 hrs but at Dr. Mary's clinic, there is no wait time. The staff is very friendly, the clinic is clean and spacious and the pharmacy staff is very courteous and helpful. My parents are in late 70s and early 80s and Dr. Mary takes utmost care of them. She is very diligent and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a good family doctor.

Dr. Mary Rofail is a disgrace to the medical community. I have been a patient with this woman for the last three years, I regret every moment . She rushes you after long wait times, you can only address one issue, your concerns aren’t heard. She lacks proper communication skills and empathy. In addition to her poor skills, the receptionists aren’t any better. Very disorganized group of women. Please re-think going to this doctor because she is no good.

I want to thank Dr. Mary Rofail. She is very professional physician, caring and go above and beyond to help the patients and guarantee they got the excellent medical service. I went yesterday to her clinic for first time, was busy and full of people but she managed easily and helped everyone with lovely smile, caring and supportive.Actually among the medical crisis we face in Ontario now, rarely you can find physician as Dr. Mary R.Highly recommend

I was told that I had an appointment at a set time and when I went there the receptionist told me that they don't do set times so I waited over an hour for the doctor to help me, and in the end the entire process took no more than 3 minutes. The front desk lady was nice to me so that is a plus. EXTREMELY long wait times if you want to go there.

Had had an urgent injury but Marlee Medical (my usual clinic) was closed at 3pm - again.What a pleasant surprise!!Lovely and neat reception area, friendly staff, short wait and Dr. Maria was empathetic and genuine.Plus the pharmacy is literally in the clinic.

Every time I have visited I was treated very well. The doctor and staff are all super friendly and provide amazing health care. Dr.Mary is very professional and patient with each visit and she always takes the time to listen to our problems/needs and deliberates on the best course of action for the situation.
