Trish and Sarah are fantastic to work with. They have so much knowledge and offered us so much advise on how we can reduce our carbon footprint and save on energy costs. They are so hands on and were so helpful to us. I recommend them highly.

Goldfinch Energy
Trish and Sarah from Goldfinch Energy were very helpful. They did an energy assessment of my house and helped me understand the changes needed to make my home more energy efficient, but also helped me think about longer range steps I could take to further reduce my green house gas emissions and carbon foot print. I’m grateful for the roadmap they helped me create—lovely to work with, highly recommended!

Sarah was a joy to work with! Sarah conducted a hot/cold air assessment for us and also identified/plugged an area in our home where cigarette smoke from an adjoined neighbour was leaking in from. She also gave us some suggestions to make our home more air tight and on heat pumps. We plan on implementing these suggestions in the following years. I couldn't recommend the company more!

Trish and Sarah were a pleasure to deal with—highly professional, friendly, and thorough. While Sarah was performing the energy audit, she even helped assess an unrelated flooring issue we discovered in the basement and referred me to a local waterproofing specialist who could help. She was very generous with her time and sent a comprehensive report shortly after the visit. I'd 10/10 recommend this company to others!

Cannot recommend Goldfinch Energy more — they were patient, practical, and trustworthy. The founders, Trish and Sarah, truly care about helping homeowners reduce energy use. Our main challenge was a room that didn’t get proper AC/heat — they took the time to answer all my questions during the energy audit and gave us recommendations that made most sense for us (including not moving forward with a few things that would have earned them more). They also recommended great other contractors to work with. Would definitely work with them again.

While they were priced higher than other groups, I selected Goldfinch Energy for the energy audit as they had a great lot of content on their website and seemed very passionate about this type of work. After speaking with Trish, I decided not to go through with the energy audit (for now) in favour of other work, and I felt 0 pressure from her. Nothing but good things to say. Trish was an absolute pleasure.
