KAZE Sushi & Rolls

This sushi restaurant is located inside the Westin Hotel Whistler. There is only few tables available and is better to have reservations in advance for not to wait long time to get your food. The food quality is really high and all items taste great. We ordered Negi Toro( Tuna with green onions) roll. For me the quality was good and tasty but needed more green onion. Their sushi rice quality is really great and you can feel the taste of Japan. If you visit whistler dining at this place is highly recommended as their Japanese chef and friendly staff will give you a great experience of Japanese cuisine. By the way don’t forget to order Shrimp Tempura , it’s out of this world. Price is reasonable and they close at 9 pm, a little early though.

Highly recommend this spot. This is a hidden gem in Mississauga, and a must-try sushi spot. The staff is very friendly and attentive. But best of all is the presentation, the quality, and the freshness of their food. Everything we ordered dining-in was made with love and care, and it showed! Absolutely amazing, I am so impressed. Thank you for a great experience. I cannot wait to come back again!

Wonderful sushi place with a nice decor. I came in with my family and we ordered a lot—we got the large Maki, Sushi and Sashimi platter—it was all delicious. I particularly enjoyed their fresh sashimi, it was great. I really appreciate their variety of choices, they have a lot of vegetarian options for those on dietary restrictions, and even other items that isn’t limited to just sushi, which is nice. I can’t wait to try their signature maki rolls next time. The service was so warm, friendly, and attentive, we all felt welcomed. I had a great time here. Would definitely be back whenever I’m in Mississauga!

Even though I love nigiri sushi... the maki sushi was amazing (premium platter). Very flavourful and the shrimp tempura appetizer was spot on. Interesting layout of a restaurant; although we had to wait a little, I still think it was impressive service. Need to try some of the lunchtime meals.

I am excited to dine-in at this place. You can say this place is a hidden gem located on a busy plaza in Mississauga. A clean and vibrant area, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I got take-out for my parents and some rolls for myself. My favorite is the Tuna Maki as it was loaded off chopped Tuna. You first bite you'll be impressed. The signature roll is a must try but I am happy this place open up in Mississauga.

I hate this area because it's usually very dusty because of the surrounding businesses. But tucked behind a car shop in a very unassuming place, you'll find one of the best rolls in Mississauga. This is literally a hidden spot.Staff are very accommodating and the place is clean. I got the aburi salmon roll and mixed tempura.Aburi Salmon Roll was perfect. Rice is seasoned well, and everything you see on the board works together nicely. These are big bites, too! Delicious!Tempura has a light and airy batter that is very crunchy.If I were to unnecessarily find a flaw on my orders: I'd have my tempura fried 5-10 seconds more & would ask for Wasabi that has more kick.But I'd gladly recommend this place to anyone. I'll be back! :)

Amazing sushi food but no decent place to sit and enjoy. Had to get our food packed and wait for 30 mins in the parking lot to take home, wish they had some more sitting area to offer a proper dining experience. Or just make it a take out only place.The sushi was really yum and although I am not a big fan of Japanese food this place actually changed my mind about how good the food can be… would definitely recommend this for the food taste and quality.

Heard about this hidden gem from social media, decided to give it a shot! Here is my review:Sushi, Sashimi, Rolls (9/10):Firstly, all the ingredients are so FRESH. When I bite into the rolls the multilayered textural experience is top notch. The Lunch Special Maki, was really good and crunchy. The Specialty rolls that came with the platter were also very tasty as well.For Sashimi, the quality of the fish and cut is amazing. The fishes were processed properly, leading to, again, a textural and taste experience comparable to some of the best Japanese places I’ve been to. With the same quality of fish, needless to say the Sushi were excellent as well.The only reason I didn’t rate it as 10/10, is because this was among the best Sushi and Roll I’ve had, and did not take me to another different level I have not tasted before.Tempura : Shrimp and Veggies (8/10):The topic of the day is freshness - and there’s no exceptions here. The ingredients used for the tempura were fresh and prepared on the spot. This, leads to a very crunchy tempura experience.The only complaint I have here was that the tempura could of came with a bit more tempura dipping sauce. Besides this minor point, this was one of the best and freshest tempura I’ve had.Final Verdict (9/10):This is truly the definition of a “hidden gem” restaurant! I can’t wait to be back to try the other dishes!

We went there for dine in lunch. The service was friendly and prompt. The set up was more for casual dine in, not proper dining room. We were there for lunch so it was okay. The portion was generous and the sushi were delicious. The tempura were freshly fried, they were very good! We would return for take out or casual dine in.
