All positive experience with Ryan at our wedding. Got hundreds of amazing photos, fast, without interrupting our day. 10/10 would work with again, but I don't plan on having another wedding. ;-)

I noticed the Gaupers at a family friend’s wedding… years before I was even engaged. Since then, they’ve shot my engagement photos, wedding photos, sister’s engagement and wedding photos, and the first photos of my family of three.Here are some things I love about them:1. They are a husband/wife team and that’s adorable. But it also inspires excellent teamwork.2. They’re trustworthy. I’m always confident I’ll like enough photos to frame, and when you’re picky about yourself in photos, that’s not always the case.3. This summer, Ryan came to our Airbnb vacation home to hang out and take pictures of my family. He hopped in our car to head to a beach with better light, scouted some cool little spots ahead of time and felt like a friend and an expert, all at the same time.4. The Gaupers capture the little moments. At our family session, did they have to take pictures of the details? The stones, the sand, the leaves starting to turn. No. But they did, and I love them. The little extras like that are the things you can expect.5. They care about their clients. When Ryan was saying goodbye after our most recent session, he gave my son a high five and told him he can’t wait to watch him grow up. (Because obviously, we’re using them for every photographic moment in our family’s future.)6. They set realistic timelines, and often get you photos before their due date. This year, they are drowning in wedding work and somehow still got my family photos to me within a month of taking them, way before I ever expected.We. Love. Them.

They were amazing to work with . Ryan was very on top of it and helped me not forget about the little details. The editing style was everything that I hoped for. Ryan was so easy to work with and made my husband and I feel so relaxed in front of the camera.

I don’t even know where to start with how absolutely incredible Ryan and Holly are at what they do. Not only are the images crisp, vibrant, and beautiful, but they also perfectly capture the moment in the most stunning way. All the way back in 2009 they did my senior photos, and from that moment I knew that these were the people I wanted to work with for any future photos. So most recently, Ryan shot our wedding in November! It was so nice to see my husband meet him and finally see what I meant when I said how comfortable they make you feel. He immediately loved Ryan! He made the day so much more fun and chill. Our photos came out beautifully, Holly truly is so talented at what she does! They work so SO well as a team. I also tend to struggle with a distorted self image, but I felt beautiful in my photos and never thought pictures could make me feel so many happy emotions. I can’t recommend them enough. Worth every penny!

GauperPhoto did our wedding—and I will be forever grateful. Ryan and Holly made sure that our day was both planned and relaxed, both beautiful and enjoyable. I do not love getting my picture taken, but had so much fun doing my wedding photos, and they are to this day the ones where I feel most beautiful. Can’t say enough wonderful things about who they are as people, the joy they bring to an event, and the incredible attention to detail each image receives. They are always my first recommendation!

The Gaupers are amazing at what they do! We went with them for wedding photography and were so impressed! They have a wonderful balance of being personable and professional, and they are super dedicated to their work and to their customers. They were so supportive as we discussed plans and ideas for what our wedding day would look like, and we loved having them around throughout the event! The photos are exquisite and they work great together as a team.

Very kind and professional. Worked with us and out abbreviated schedule for our wedding day so we did not end up booking the entire 8-10 hour package, which was super nice of him. Photos turned out great.

Ryan was absolutely flawless shooting our wedding at District5 schoolhouse in Zeeland, he got the right angles and shots to make everything perfect. We had gotten advice on a local spot to shoot our Bride and Groom wedding photos and Ryan took the time out of his day and made the trip before hand to scout out the area. True professional and highly recommend!

My sister is a phenomenal wedding photographer. When I got engaged, I asked her to help me find a photographer whose skill level was comparable to hers--and ideally wouldn't break the bank! Ryan Gauper couldn't have been more perfect. He was so organized and helpful in communication, and his wife Holly did an incredible job with the photo edits.Furthermore, my wife and I changed our wedding venue location last minute and updated our website and FB info but somehow FORGOT to tell our photographer--!!--until day OF! But he was unfazed, made it to the new location ASAP, and jumped right into taking incredible photos. I couldn't believe my forgetfulness and was so incredibly grateful at Ryan's calm demeanor and handling of the situation.The quality of the photos is breathtaking. 100% recommend.

We hired Ryan for our very first ever family photos with our 6 month old baby. It was a chilly day and our son was cutting his first tooth but you would never know it from the photos! They were stunning and we have been so happy with them printed on large canvas in our home. His wife Holly is a master at editing too! I've been following their work for years and highly recommend them to ANYONE!
