Tanner's Recycling

I count and sort my bottles and cans before I arrive. They take my word on my bottle count. Very efficient so I do not have to wait long. They are friendly, and I do not feel intimidated here like at other places I have gone where the employees were gruff, rude, and unfriendly. Other places seemed to try to cheat me on money, too. This place is not like that. I will continue going here.

Always a fantastic experience when I visit Tanner's. A worker always meets me at my vehicle to help carry my bags inside - which I have pre counted (write the numbers on the fridge people, it's not difficult), this place is busy and who enjoys waiting in line? They are always friendly and thank me for my business. I highly recommend!

Great service. I hadn't been in awhile. Now you stay on your car and they unload everything for you. There is a wait if you didn't count in advance but its not bad. Was quite busy after lunch on a Thursday.

I love the way they do it now with you staying in your car. It's awesome, they were friendly and super helpful. My bottles weren't counted and they didn't seem to mind. I'll be going here next time again.

I thought I would have a wait, because they were quite busy when I arrived with a large broken TV that I couldn't lift out of the car. One of the employees came right out to help, said no problem miss

Found this recycling centre as the result of a Google Maps search. On a quiet street, making for easy access getting in and out. Service was fantastic. After pulling up to the front of the line, the attendant had the transaction done in less than five minutes. If you have recycling, this place will take care of your needs.

Always go there guick and easy

I have brought bottles here forever , today 4 fellows are idle no customers at the time I go in . I ask if I can buy 1 case of empty bottles. Because they are not busy , zereo customers . I ask if I can look and see if there is mold . I find One , he offered to exchange it for me for another upon asking him . I tell him I appreciate that , I wouldn’t have asked if you were busy, as I realize you cannot guarantee the mold etc. But since you have no customers I appreciate it.The “manager” comes and says we cannot guarantee the mold and cleanliness etc and allow you to look at them too time consuming your paying only $4.00 /dozen. Lol. That’s irreverent . I explained the above courtesy request as explained ie not busy etc it’s relative to helping customer beyond your general rules. ......she didn’t care .I explained I have only ever used your exchange , but that will change as a result of this interaction .She couldn’t discern the value of the exchange of a dirty bottle and the acknowledgement of my awareness that I didn’t expect if she had even one waiting customer .It was only A courtesy I expected “because her workers were all idle” in the moment , especially as I explained why I asked given their not being busy at all .She lost me as a long term customer over one bottle , and I will tell hundreds of people of her lack of customer service . The point for me is not that I couldn’t get a clean bottle , but that she wasn’t aware enough to Understand the trade off of the two. . Not willing to support a business that doesn’t service Customers based on individual circumstances , and this was so trivial in nature , yet major way to lose a customer who will tell everyone this story.They get 1 star due to poor interaction and service skills , she’s is poor at service communication and awareness with what truly matters at zero cost to her business in the moment . More to gain in doing it than not .this is written more as an observation of service quality in one incident , in my world , no problem to get you another given same circumstances of idle workers.

Great service and very Covid-friendly protocols being followed. I'll be back!
