I ordered a knife set as a gift for my hubby, I had no idea what he even needed. Steven helped me through the entire thing and not only put together exactly what he wanted but also at an amazing price and very last minute.Ordering was so easy and I had the set faster than I ever expected. Great guy, fantastic service and knives that my extremely picky husbands loves.I would and will be ordering again!

This humble and unassuming place was recommended by a dear and trusted friend.I called Steven one morning this week to see if he was available to sharpen some kitchen knives for our family. The missus and I bought them 13 years ago and figured it was time. He said come on by, it'll only take a few minutes. Given the sheer consistency of reviews, I had nothing but confidence.Steven had four of our knives sharpened in less than 10 minutes, and he assured me they'd be sharper than when they came out of the factory. He also made a recommendation for one of his own paring knives, if we were interested. After payment, I bid Steven adieu and toddled off along my merry way.Well by the power of Greyskull, these knives could unhesitatingly cut a Buick in half. If the Titanic had this knife strapped to its bow, we'd be spared the appalling film...and the passengers would have arrived safely at their destination of course. I'm genuinely concerned that we'll go to chop some onions and wind up splitting the countertop abroad.And I'll be back in the future to score a properly made knife.Thanks very much, Steven!

Steven made me a beautiful fillet knife in 2019. I brought it to him recently to get sharpened. Steven genuinely asked how I was enjoying the knife. I told him that I honestly do love the knife, however there were a few changes I would make if possible.Steven insisted on creating me a new knife. He wanted me to be 100% happy with my purchase. He listened to my requests and had the new fillet knife ready within a week.The new knife really is something special. I imagine it will be in the family for many years to come. Fantastic stuff! Ordered four knives for my groomsmen and Stephen had them crafted within a few weeks and shipped to my door. Quality and craftsmanship is through the roof. Will be buying again!

Just received my first of Steven's knives today (Survival and Pairing knives).The workmanship, quality, balance, sharpness, fit and finish of these knives is something I've never seen before. Truly amazing work Steven...I'll be putting in more orders for sure over the coming years and recommending you too anyone who will listen.

Knife barley held a edge and seemed to cut crooked because the taper on the sharpening was off. Save your money and get a gerber or buck knife at Canadian tire. FREEDOM

Would give zero stars if I could. Ignorant and rude. No matter how good one is at their craft you can't be a hateful human being and expect even mediocre customer service.

I had been struggling to find someone to sharpen my kitchen knives since we moved to Cobourg 2 years ago. My husband found Steven and we couldn’t be more pleased. My knives are sharper than when I purchased them! Steven is a great guy and has a very cool shop. I highly recommend him.

I have ordered many custom knives from Steven, ( big belly skinner, hunter, Bowie, machete) Even one of my knives was published in blade magazine! I highly recommend Steven. His attention to detail and customer service are impeccable. If you are looking for a knife for life this is your bladesmith!!! Had some knives sharpened by Steven and they now are the sharpest they have ever been and I found steven to be a very thoughtful guy ,I would definitely recommend him to anyone.Thank you for the gift steven and thank you for bringing the knives back to life
