1st Choice Heating & Plumbing

I wanted to post this up so the management of this company can be aware of this issue. I was driving in North Edmonton today (May 20th, 2022) at 5pm when the driver of your company van almost caused an accident. He was driving beside me on a two lane road (82nd street northbound just north of 167 avenue), I was on the left lane, he was on the right lane, and his lane merged into mine. He never signaled, instead he assumed I would put my car into a dead stop so he could cut in front of me (of course I couldn't do that as I would have been rear-ended by the car behind me). He ended up driving behind me after the merge and was tailgating me and honking incessantly. Your employee is representing your company in a very negative light. He is a hazard on the road, to both himself and others, and it is a matter of time before he causes an accident. I would highly recommend that your company puts this individual through some anger management classes.

I had a great experience today with 1st Choice Heating and Plumbing. I noticed issues with my water tank yesterday and today they were here with a brand new one. The install area is in an awkward place and Richard C and his crew handled it with ease. Highly recommend for professionalism, quality and caring customer service.

Superb in all aspects. Starting with the thorough explanations of all the types of equipment and the reasons for which they are specific for each use. Best customer service I've ever had :-)We had a brand new AC installed last summer, what a difference!!This week we had our furnace replaced by a new high efficiency one, we noticed the difference right away that same night when the install was finished.Richard has lots of experience in his business and his staff is personally trained by him.I would recommend 1st Choice Heating & Plumbing as your next supplier.Thanks.

Not professional when utilized their services over the Holiday Period. Demand payment when work is not finalized and abuse customer rights. Don't use this firm and save yourself a headache. Call other professional companies!

Placed a faulty part on the hot water tank during installation leading to water damage and a very expensive insurance claim. Never took responsibility for this even though insurance found the faulty part. Terrible company. Do not recommend.

This is the second year using this company for furnace humidifier a/c maintenance. They are always very busy so important to call early to prevent issues. Richard C came today and delivered quality effective professional service. I know my HVAC system is in great shape

So much is wrong with this company. I was quoted 250 by a tech who came in to repair my A/C. A few days later I was sent a bill for 1200, which I did not okay. When I went to try the A/C unit which they said they had fixed for 1200, it did not work at all.When I spoke with the owner about fixing it right, he said he would refund me and look at replacing the whole A/C unit, which I agreed to. Several months later, and a lot of follow up by myself. The owner has ghosted me and does not get back to me at all.This whole process has been an absolute nightmare. Save yourself a huge hassle and use another company.

Mario came today to replace a leaky humidifier attached to our furnace. He was very friendly and professional. He took time to show me how to use it properly and how to identify the filter type for replacement. He cleaned up after himself and was very respectful. I would definitely recommend 1st choice .

Would recommend 1st choice heating and plumbing to anyone I know! Richard c had came to take a look at our furnace after it hadnt been working properly for a few days, we had a company come to take a look previously before, only to have it do the same things. He had it fixed quickly, he was very informative about how it all worked, cleaned up after himself and made sure it was good to go before he left. Super friendly guy! He does his work right the first time, he will continue to have our business in the future, just hopefully not anytime soon! Its too cold to be without heat. Thanks for keeping our home warm! Very appreciated.
