Very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I was within ten days of closing and the lender, (Kara Currey from First Colony Mortgage) messed up with my loan which had already been approved). The seller had accepted my offer but the appraisal later came in lower than my offer.In a case like this, you need to renegotiate the offer because the lender will only give a loan on what the house is appraised at.Obviously, Martin Justus. who represented myself and the seller had another buyer whose loan would go through easier than mine. He called me and told me that if I tried to renegotiate at the appraised price and my loan didn't go through, that I would lose my $1,000 earnest money. I didn't want to lose this, so I did what Martin Justus suggested and terminated my contract.The next day I saw that he had sold the house to someone else and that he had lied about the earnest money. I actually wouldn't have lost it if I renegotiated and didn't get financing, even though I had already qualified for the loan.I suggest you stay far away from Martin Justus (Four Star Real Estate) and the lender he suggested to me, Kara Currey from First Colony Mortgage. They are both very unprofessional, they blatantly lie and they seriously lack the ability to complete real estate transactions.

One of the worst Property Management companies I have ever worked with!!! Very unprofessional!!! If I could give this company 0 stars I would. If you are going to rent from these people be prepared to pay a $550 cleaning deposit. Every other company Ive worked with only charges you $250 at the max unless there are damages to the property. This so called property management makes up its own leases and says they abide by Oregon laws.

Getting a home in this market has been difficult and without Marty, well, I wouldn't have a home to live in.
