WEST ISLAND KARATE ® / KARATÉ DE L'ÎLE - Kyokushin Karate school in Montreal serving Île-Perrot Pincourt Vaudreuil Beaconsfield Kirkland Pierrefonds Pointe-Claire Dollard-des-Ormeaux | West Island Karate ® and Karaté de L'Île are Kyokushin Karate schools in Beaconsfield and Île-Perrot on the west island of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The dojo was founded by Sensei John Kalaidopoulos (4th Dan) in 1997. We are the host of the annual West Island Karate Championships tournament.

The best experience ever. Shihan John and everybody made me feel I am in the best family you wish to be. It is a tough style- do not forget the founder is Sosai Mas Oyama. You are encouraged to push yourself to do the best you can give, respecting what your body has to say. The Sempais who are teaching, are very good, passionate and very professional. OSU.
