Doctor Blustein has treated me with compassion and empathy and made me truly feel cared for. He wanted to see me recover and I felt like he really understood my pain. He has been an excellent doctor and I wish him the best after his retirement.

Not sure why Dr. Blustein accepted me as a new patient, he told me he is about to retire. A waste of my time so now I am back on the waitlist for another doctor for my regular colonoscopies.

This building doesn't have the regular Medical centre look. Its across from the Regal Beagle before the hill, dont come to your appointment early you will wait before being seen.

I missed it when they called me to make an appointment. Their message said to press two to speak to them when I called back. There is no press 2. It goes straight to a message machine every time I’ve called at any point in the day. There is nobody who answers phones there. I’ve left a detailed message every time and I’ve never received a call back. Sure feels like they don’t care about my situation at all. Then I read the reviews and I’m thanking god I missed their call. My biggest worry/anxiety about the procedure is not being properly sedated and it seems like this is a issue for them. I’m contacting my doc today and getting someone else. Even if I have to wait longer.

Rude and disinterested. He didn’t wait for meds to kick in, plus no follow up. I was in discomfort before the test and in much more discomfort afterwards. I told him about my history with my issue but still not a work spoken by him. I’m still unsure of what my problem is.Please look at all his reviews from other search engines

I have not been listed for the scheduled booking I supposedly should have. What a contempt from the MOA who took my call!

If i could give Dr. BASS a 0 i would. Be sure to check other websites of his reviews. He is rude, disinterested, and even stops during a procedure if you are in pain and clearly not sedated. I was hoping he would maybe wait a few mins to make sure the meds have kicked in because they clearly hadnt but instead he said there is nothing to see here. No follow up necessary. He stopped right at the corner before my transverse colon . Which is the general area that is causing me soooo much pain plus a noticeable lump in that area. With my family history of crohns and everything he said if u had crohns we would have seen it by now!! But guess what my moms crohns was in her ileum the end of her small intestine. They found nothing until the very end of her test. But yet, you can say for sure everything is great without checking!! Great job! Almost as good as the previous appt with u when u wanted to just do a sigmoidoscopy hoping to find something so u wouldnt need to search further because you are too busy. Time to retire doc.

Like all the reviews it is small, and really out of place. It is a place where time forgot to update. No tech really in the building. All paper and pen. No parking out front but plenty out back. There is accessible access there as well.Dr.Phillip Bluestein is an amazing Dr. And during consultation he does listen to you. Going above and beyond to solve the issues at hand.I would have given 5 stars but reception was disappointing. Wait time was long. Hour wait before before seen. But sometimes it happens especially if your are in need of help. Reception were winey and complaining about everything. No professinal manner observed. Staff smoking in front of the building. Not good. Kind of untidy in the waiting area.Putting that aside still the best gasteoenterologist to be seen by. Highly recommended.

I had Dr Bass as a doctor for my crohns since 2014 and not once was able to help figure out the real reason I kept getting sicker and more pain.After years of no help, hard to get ahold of, hard to talk to (he is not a people person at all) his holidays on his boat seem to be his main priority Over his patients.Dr. Bass ended up telling me he no longer wants to be my doctor because there is zero he can do for me. He did not even help set me up with a new G.I doctor... to boot just started a new medication that now have no doctor to sign off for for me to getI ended up in the emergency department over Christmas 2022 and it took one doctor to see my white blood count was far from normal and within a few hours found the actual cause of my pain, weight-loss, time missed from work and other life's journey's because one doctor was not able to do his job he signed on to do. DR. Bass decided to be in the medical feild to help make others feel better and not once did i feel comfortable with him. I strongly do NOT recommend going to him whatsoever. You wont be heard. You won't be helped. Soooo sad how people suffer and left unheard.
