We are renovating our whole house and im having alot of trouble with various contractors etc so when it came time for JC to do his part it was a relief to have someone competent and reliable for a change.1- on time 5/52- responds to emails/calls 4/53- gave us great feedback options, explanations etc 5/54- said he would have the drawings by a date and did 5/5Thanks Jean-Claude Stael!

John was hired as our Engineer for our house lift in August 2020. There was many site visits and a few structural challenges, John was present and explained to us our various options. He was professional, answered all our questions and collaborated well with our contractor. Our timeline was also respected by him.. We were very happy with the work completed by ABC Structure.

John from ABC Structural Engineering was very quick to come and have a site visit after my initial phone call, and within a week had sent a report with his suggestions and concerns about our building. He was attentive, and also listened to my ideas, and helped me come up with a plan for a cost effective repair and structural strengthening. I highly recommend John for any homeowner seeking peace of mind if they have any structural concerns with their home or project. He will be my contact moving forward for structural issues and plans.

Professional and knowledgeable, I was able to speak in my own words to describe what was required for my construction. Jean-Claude gave me many options during the first visit in order to decide on a plan. Communication by phone and email was quick and available plans we made clearly and very professional. Was able to clarify certain aspects plans and change when certain engineered components were not available in my area.

ABC STRUCTURE, designed our new foundation, that was damaged by the 2019 Ottawa river flood. The owner, John, was always available, to respond to my questions, no matter what time of day or day..Such great knowledge of engineering and a very caring person, which was very comforting for our family...in such difficult times. Spoke to John, I called him with concerns of a slanted floor in our semi basement. John took the time to answer all of my questions over the phone and explained to me there's no cause for concern based on the facts I presented. John could have easily taken advantage of my lack of knowledge but he didn't and he put my mind at ease. A very honest and knowledgeable man. Thanks so much, John!
