I have known Amy and family for a couple of years now. When I first moved to Burlington, she was recommended to me to take care of our Morkie. It didn't take Piper long to love Amy and then to love her family. We aren't in Burlington now but Piper still goes for her weekends with this amazing family and she literally jumps out of the car and runs to her door no matter how long in between visits. She is treated so well and loves being there. If we could have taken Amy to Hamilton we would have. You can't go wrong with this plan for your pet.

Our Golden Retriever, Scout, has stayed with Amy many times and he absolutely LOVES it there! The first thing he does when he gets there is run straight for the great big back yard where he runs and plays with the other dogs. This is not like any other pet boarding service, Amy and her family truly welcome every dog into their home and shower them with love and attention as if they were their own. Amy is diligent about every dog having a trial visit first, so that she can assess if the dog’s temperament is a good fit to be around other dogs in her care, to ensure a safe and happy visit for each of her furry guests! I highly recommend Amy/Skallywags to anyone looking for a safe, loving and fun place for their dog(s) to stay while they’re away. It always gives us peace of mind when we’re away that we know Scout is having a great time at Amy’s!

Amy has taken care of our dog many times. We wouldn't think of sending him anywhere else. The environment is a warm and cozy and our dog is thrilled when he gets to stay there. If you are looking for a home away from home for your pet, Skallywags is the perfect place for them. 5+ star rating.

Amy is absolutely amazing and my pup Ruby just adores her. Amy is reliable, professional but most of all a true animal lover who cares for my pooch like her own family . . in fact Ruby believes she is a family member. I get an update everyday and on more than one occasion Amy has adjusted her schedule at the last minute to accommodate my day. I completely trust Amy and both Ruby and I adore her, we are lucky to have found her. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Amy continues to go above and beyond in her care for Foster, even helping with his meds and the groomers. He is in a home with other dogs, a family and a big yard to play in. We tried a warehouse place before and he wasn't happy. Now he is out of the car and runs to her door! We can't thank you enough Amy and family!M. Prescott

While we were away Amy provided our puppy with the loving family atmosphere she was used to. She meticulously followed Izzy's schedule taking her for daily walks and giving her lots of outside playtime. Most importantly, her daughters gave her lots of cuddles. Leaving our dog with Amy allowed us to have a worry free vacation.

I am so grateful for finding Amy and her family to take care of Max. She has taken care of him for the last seven years and it has become Max's second family. She has been so attentive to his health issues over the years and we can go away knowing he's going to be given amazing love and care. Thank you Amy!!!!!

Amy provided a warm and loving environment for our dog Kona while we were away. I was completely at ease knowing she was in good hands! Kona was so relaxed and happy on our return, she didn't want to leave :) Amy loves each dog that comes into her home as her own, and that makes a world of difference to both owner and pup. Amazing dog caregivers!!! We truly feel like it’s a second home for our dog. When going on vacation it is such a great relief to n be able to leave your pet with someone and not worry a bit when you are away. Amy always sends little notes and pictures of how are fur baby is doing and we appreciate that so much. She loves and cares for our dog like it’s her own. Highly recommend Skallywags to everyone.

Amy is the best. She has taken care of our dogs for years. Sunny and Budy are so excited for Amy's daily visits, they wait by the window for her to arrive. We are very comfortable knowing we can leave our boys with Amy in her loving and safe home while we are away. She truly cares and it shows. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
