I was referred to Dr Raamya for jaw pain and headaches that had been bothering me for several months. I was clenching at night. After a bit of troubleshooting (modifying diet, applying heat, etc) I was still in a lot of pain. He gave me a custom splint with instructions to wear it day and night.I found I couldn’t wear it much during the day due to the nature of my work but have worn it EVERY night and found the relief and progress (less pain) significant. The first few nights I didn’t think I would be able to continue (it was so awkward and uncomfortable) but I’m VERY glad I persisted because I got used to it quickly and the relief has been so worth it!I’d recommend anyone in the same situation to wear it as much as possible - once you get over the adjustment being compliant gets easier AND the results (not having constant pain) have honestly changed my life for the better. Very much like the other patient that posted the 1 star review. I feel this is now round 2! I do not recommend Dr. Raamya and this office. Our dentist referred my daughter here to talk to a TMJ specialist after suffering trama on the removal of her wisdom teeth and being in an immense amount of pain. She was asked to fill in the intake form and on being seen was berated for selecting her appropriate responses. After a very haphazard assessment, the doctor was not able to understand her situation and advised that we pay $800 for a mouth gaurd and continue with visits every 2 months. Our dentist that sent us to him advised that it was very steep for a mouth gaurd and insurance declined to cover the cost. The secretary at his office is rude and unprofessional. This office refuses to deal with your insurance. When we asked for a receipt, she provided a receipt that we couldn't read and continued be rude when asked to reprint one for insurance.I would ask you to save your money and seek another professional office.

I have been seeing Dr. Raamya for just under a year and have had a great experience. I have been experiencing TMJ issues ever since I was a teenager and tried numerous specialists (maxillofacial surgeons, chiropractors, dentists and physiotherapists) prior to Dr Raamya to reduce my pain, clicking and jaw locking. After six months of using a splint provided by Dr. Raamya, my pain has disappeared, the clicking has reduced and my jaw no longer locks open. It has been much more effective than any other treatment I have tried!New patients should realize that TMJ is a complex condition and does require lifestyle changes beyond just using an oral splint, and Dr. Raamya will be upfront that a splint is not an instant fix for everyone. It’s important to reduce stress/anxiety, improve posture with physical therapy, and have a diet of softer foods. By wearing the splint provided by Dr. Raamya and making these small changes in my daily lifestyle/routine, my pain and clicking drastically reduced and no longer interfere with my life. I work as a mental health professional who talks for eight hours a day, and without Dr Raamya’s help I wouldn’t be able to work full time without terrible pain and clicking.Thank you so much Dr!

Dr Raamya is very knowledgeable and very helpful, caring and compassionate. He helped me with my TMJ pain tremendously. Would highly recommend him.

This office is criminal, they claim to be a specialist and offer no real solutions to your issues simply Band-Aid fixes at a ridiculous price! They simply operate as a business and are only there to take as much money from you as possible.

My wife has had severe pain in her jaw for many months now. We saw many doctors to try to sort this out but nothing worked. We finally made a visit to Raamya Dentistry and after a few sessions she is doing so much better. We are so thankful for all the time and care they’ve taken into making this experience a good one.

After 3 months of trying physiotherapy for my TMJD issues. I finally came to Dr Raamya, after 2 weeks of wearing his splint I feel 80-90% better.

I had TMJ pain and difficulty in sleeping for couple of years. I went to different doctors, dentists and specialist but no one was able to fix my problem. Finally I googled and found Dr. Raamya. He recommended me for splint and took it from him. It worked like a miracle now my pain had gone and I am able to sleep. Thanks to Dr. Raamya and teem.
