Dr. Ruth Lin

Dr Lin is very professional, knowledgeable, and my exam was extremely thorough. The glasses prices are very reasonable considering the quality of their eyewear. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm a big fan of this clinic and I will be recommending this clinic to my friends :) In addition, they go above and beyond in terms of sanitation and COVID-19 protocols. I am grateful for the effort they put in to ensure my exam was clean and safe.

I would definitely recommend going to Dr. Ruth Lin. My recent appointment progressed very quickly. I was surprised when I needed glasses. However, her team provided me with many great suggestions on what type of glasses that are comfortable to wear and fashionable. They have addressed all my concerns and questions regarding fitment and lens profile before I purchased it. Furthermore, her team was very friendly towards me.

I'm very wary about getting glasses because my prescription doesn't really give me many options. I've been to like 6-7 different shops and every time I get told that I only have a handful available to choose from, but the folks here changed that! I could actually pick a pair of glasses I like! Super friendly staff who answered all my eye-related questions too (eye strain/fatigue etc). I got a pair of glasses to start, then added a pair of prescription sunglasses because the service was that good. Definitely a good place to go, they know what they're talking about! =)

TL; DR - would not recommend, charges $50 per visit for the elderly, even though the eye exams for people over 65 and older are covered by MSP. Wasted my time and charged for something that is covered by MSP.My experience below:Took my grandmother to get the results of her eye exam, she prescribed eye drops and told us to come back for another visit instead of providing the results. We came back again 2 weeks later, same thing happened... We ended up going 3 times before they could provide the results. Each time they charged $50. Even if they didn't charge for the visit, why waste our time for something as simple as providing the results?Even though they have a washroom, they told customers to go to the washroom at the public library next door instead.Eye exams are covered by MSP for those over 65 years old but they charged $50 for each visit. How many elderly people who are referred by their family doctors are being tricked into paying for something that is covered??? Would not recommend to anyone.

Bought a pair of polarised sunglasses. The lady helping me out was very helpful and patient in providing me a selection of frames as well as the lens. Had to special order which arrived very quickly. I'm very happy with my purchase and the service. Will definitely go back again in future.

I am super picky and took my time to pick out the glasses and the girl there who helped me was patient and very helpful. Very happy with the glasses in the end and it was adjusted till it fit right. Also did my eye exam with the Dr there and everything went smoothly. She was thorough and the process didn't feel rush. Overall, would go back there again

Customer service is excellent and Dr. Ruth Lin gives great advices! Be sure to keep an eye out on all the latest selections of glasses and prepare yourself because you'll be spending quite a bit of time going through them all. Don't worry though because the lovely staffs will help make sure you find the one that suits you best! :D

I had my last eye exam two years ago elsewhere and got prescription glasses then but never wore them much. I work with a computer all day and lately, my eyes were getting tired and dry. Dr. Lin thoroughly took the time to examine and explained the differences in my vision. Her recommendation to get an anti fatigue pair of glasses for my computer work made a significant difference resulting in much less strain on my eyes and her advice on how I should make use of my old pair had improved my overall eye health. I’m so happy I took her advice. I will always visit her. Very friendly staff, assisting during COVID. Definitely a place I highly recommend.

I have been to dr. Lin twice now. Both times I felt very comfortable with how she does things. She explains things very thoroughly. I hate having my eyes dilated, but she somehow makes the feeling less stressful. The lady who works the front desk is very nice and always makes a effort to talk to you on a personal level. Love how honest they are when trying on glasses. What looks good and what doesn’t. Thanks for helping me see better :)

Dr. Lin takes great precision in every eye exam. Along with the up to date technology, she paves the way for accuracy down to the very decimal. As well as with the years of experience. She applies her knowledge and understanding honestly. In addition, the staff and volunteers are welcoming in every aspect possible. When you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly hello followed by a temperature scan and sanitizer. 10/10 would recommend :)
