Speedy Glass Marine Drive

I attempted to use this location with a windshield chip. Unfortunately, they declined to repair the chip even though it complied with all of the ICBC criteria for glass repair. If you are looking to get chips repaired beware before using a SpeedyGlass as they have additional SpeedyGlass criteria above the ICBC criteria.Don't make the same mistake I did and schedule and appointment, show up, then have them tell you they cannot fix it.I would highly recommend speaking with them over the phone and going into the specifics about any glass repair. One of the lines that they said to me was we cannot repair this because it is higher than 3inches above the base of the windshield on the driver side." This is an example of a SpeedyGlass specific criteria that ICBC confirmed on the phone with me that falls under the "repair location specific criteria" category."

Terrible service. Vehicle was in for a windshield replacement. They ordered the wrong seal, then told me they couldn't get the correct part. They then tried to reuse the old seal which they tore while taking out. Windshield leaked like a river pouring in and instead of taking responsibility they cancelled my claim. Avoid this shop at all costs.

Ten outta ten. Everyone is really nice and I will definitely be returning. I had my windshield replaced. They gave me some good advice about my air filter/car in general and actually threw in some windshield wipers! Will definitely go back if need be! Highly recommended spot for car service. :)

Excellent service!The staff booked the appointment, submitted the claim to ICBC, ordered the replacement windshield, I brought the car in, they called me cab to go to work. They offered to have me picked up when the car was ready (I didn't need it, but thank you).They called me about 2 hours later: car was ready. I picked it up. It was washed and vaccumed inside. The new windshield was on perfectly. And they even provided me with double sided tape so I can remount my dash cam!Their attention was very much appreciated. I do recommend them...and thank them!

I replaced my car winshield in this location and recieved a great help and support from the staff. the replacement completed eariler than estimated time and the quality if workmen ship is outstanding.

I am so impressed with the honest and professional way Speedy Glass on Marine at Capilano has treated me twice in the last two years that I now write this review of their services.I bought a 2002 Ford Taurus about 5 years ago with 200,000 on the clock. It was my intention to fix the problems the car had which I did however there were three problems which proved particularly difficult to resolve and over two to three years I went to a number of garages including Ford in Vancouver and Ford in North Vancouver but none could fix the problems, only suggesting that I ‘replace the parts’ which would have been very expensive and, with a car of this vintage, difficult to find. Because part of the three problems involved a leak I tried Speedy Autoglass on Marine Drive near Capilano in North Vancouver. Speedy checked the car out without any charge, confirmed the problems and because most of the problems were electrical and mechanical recommended a company in Burnaby, Urban Autoworks on Douglas, which fixed all three problems in half-a-day using skill rather than simply replacing parts! I was so relieved to have these problems fixed after two or three years of frustration and cost.About three months ago a leak appeared resulting in the passenger floor becoming very wet. This is a very common problem with this model and vintage of the Ford Taurus and can be caused by one of about ten reasons either mechanical, structural or to do with the car windows. My mechanic was able to isolate the leak to either the windscreen or the A-bar structure alongside the windscreen and so I took it to Speedy for its thoughts. Nancy the receptionist asked a number of questions on the initial telephone conversation and then in the first ten minutes of the appointment went around the car to discuss the problem with me and I was impressed not only with her knowledge in general but also her knowledge of problems with this specific model of car. She explained that a technician would examine the window and if there was a leak then an attempt would be made to reset the window however it was possible that the window could break in the process requiring replacement and she had been able to locate a replacement window in Calgary.The car went into the shop and was examined for 90 minutes after which the technician, Adam, told me that there was no leak from the window or the sunroof and he thought it was a structural problem in the A-bar down the side of the window and when I offered to pay for his time for the assessment he told me there was ‘no charge’ as he hadn’t needed to do any work other than confirm that there was no leak!I was so impressed.I mentioned the earlier referral to Urban Autoworks and in fact it had been Adam who had referred me two years earlier.Nancy and Adam could not have been more professional, competent, knowledgeable, honest or kind and I could not give them a higher recommendation…they really are the best.

Awesome customer experience. The front desk service person Kathy made the process smooth and efficient, and the manager Jeremy made the hassle of dealing with ICBC a non-issue.I look forward to dealing with them again and will recommend them to friends and family.

Boyz were awesome today in North Vancouver. Small problem with my wipers on a rainy day and they took me in asap. Concerned for my safety and did a great job. Thanks fellas
