Ottawa’s hair queen. This is what Ermilla is. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my salon experience with Ermilla. She is one of the very, very few stylists that listened to me, and did exactly what I wanted. I didn’t even know I had curly hair. But, Ermilla proved me wrong and showed me I actually do have bouncy curls! I will only be going to her from now on. I love her cozy, intimate space. If you haven’t come here… You’re missing out!

Before coming to see Ermilla, I was referred to her by 3 different people specifically for my type of hair (I have dry curly hair / frizzy). Maintaining my hair is extremely hard and I’ve had many trial and error with it. I was skeptical at first, and did my research. I found that she would be the best for my hair type as there aren’t many businesses here who know how to work with such volume hair. It is always a hit or miss with hair salons for me, many heartbreaks and money spent; and this was my first ever hit. It took me 25 years to find someone who understands the way my hair works and provided me with such proper resources in order to maintain it. Most salons only care about the money coming in. I found that Ermilla not only cares about the clients hair, but also helps you understands the way she works (your hair). She does not keep the secret to maintaining your hair to herself, and also wants you to understand that your hair is apart of you. The way you think, and eat all plays a part in maintaining your hair. When it came down to her dealing with my hair, she explained step by step everything she was doing, and also got to know me and made me feel completely comfortable with her. I could not have had a better experience with her. I was unaware of what to expect, and I left feeling completely happy with my hair for the first time in ages. She gained a client for life.

I found Ermi about 3 years ago and wow! As long as she has her business here, I will never go elsewhere. I've always had bad experiences with hairdressers that claim they're able to work with all types of hair. I've had my curl pattern fried before, hair not cut properly, but Ermi does it ALL!Not only is she a beaming ray of light and makes you feel completely comfortable in her space, but is able to work with all types of hair! I have naturally curly 3c dark brown hair and have safely gone blond and red, without any damage to my hair. Ermi takes her time to get the results you want. She's passionate and it shows every day! Give her a shot, I promise it'll change your hair experience.
