My friend passed away and I was looking after having her put to rest according to her wishes, which was an eco-friendly burial. Rick and Julie were amazing, helping me with the details of what was required and their team at the grave site was were so supportive and compassionate to those gathered. I have attended many funerals but never planned a burial myself, I highly recommend this team.

We recently needed to plan a funeral for my husband’s father and my father- in- law. An inevitable task when Dad was 89 and in failing health that we knew eventually needed to be done but totally dreaded. We attended previous funerals of family members at Steele’s and felt that this was the place we needed to go when the time came. We always heard how expensive a funeral could be but we must say we were pleasantly surprised. There has been so much negative press in the media about the funeral home business recently. We never experienced any of this at Steele’s They were open, honest, totally professional with us. Why would anyone go anywhere else in the Belleville area to plan a funeral.
