Took me 25 years to figure out this is the place to buy pastrami. There used to be a sports card store on the corner, as a child I'd come here with my parents and grandparents on one of our rare trips to Hamilton. Thank you for still being here. My family will see you again soon.

The owners are so warm and welcoming, super friendly. Ordered a “medium” pastrami and Montreal smoked meat and the portions are very generous! Served in the classic style with a smear of mustard on rye bread. The store doubles as a small Kosher grocery and has that old school nostalgic feel. Due to COVID it’s take out only so the soup can be bought frozen, but they are made fresh with no preservatives and a bunch of varieties to choose from and all delicious. A must visit in Westdale!

What an incredibly welcoming owner! Meir welcomes you with the spirit of Middle Eastern and Israeli people -- warmly and with humour. He piled the oven roasted turkey on a slab of soft rye and wow, simple and delicious. I will return again and again. ❤️

Very nice people and great sandwiches, I had pastrami on rye and egg salad bagel, and a cherry Danish. Coffee here is nice too, everything is made fresh. I recommend bringing cash

Horrible horrible service. We go in there to get sandwiches the older gentleman tells me and I quote “I don’t want to open a package of pastrami if you’re just going to get sandwiches”. If you don’t want to open pastrami up why are you in business? Isn’t the point of having product to sell to your customers? Please treat your customers better.

What a beautiful diamond! Been there for 50 years, managed by the currect owners for 35. Today was my first visit. Had a corned beef on rye and a big juicy kosher pickle. Simlly amazing. If you get a chance to stop by, please support this wonderful local business!!!

Best Montreal smoked meat sandwich in Hamilton area. Generous portion, fresh, great tasting. It's a simple old school deli that you can appreciate.

Great Montreal smoked meat sandwich piled high, with a kosher pickle and a sugar cookie for dessert. Charming place with very friendly owners. Worth driving from the other side of the city, I'll be back. Photos with owner's permission.

Very friendly and quaint shop. The coleslaw was very nice, fresh and flavoured well. The Corned Beef was microwaved and was ok but not memorable.
