Good movie theatre. The pre-show sounds much louder than the actual movie, so if the pre-show is way too loud, it won’t be like that for the entire movie. Depending on the theatre room you go into the seats will recline even if you put slight pressure on the back. Not sure if there is some sort of lock to prevent the slightest movement from annoying the person sitting behind you.

Pretty classic silver city experience. They got lots of theaters and lots of popcorn. Also got an arcade with some cool games like air hockey and basketball free-throw.

The kind staff are very accommodating for people with disabilities which I love to see! The on-site manager and the staff at the front went above our expectations. I'm also aware they are an inclusive workplace which truly makes a difference in the lives of the people I support!

Celebrated our child's birthday here. It was well organized and put together. The party host was attentive and kind and patient with all the kids. The bathrooms are quite small two stalls only and ran out of toilet paper quickly. Over all the theater was clean and popcorn and treats, pop were all good. Would recommend.

The place is clean and you won't have troubles finding your seatHowever, you might have trouble looking for your cinema if it's your first timeVery HIGH Quality of show and audio for IMAX.Kind of a long line for the popcorn and drinks 15mins before the show.It's very easy to book a movie and pick seats.

Clean, heated, and lots of popcorn. Silvercity has 9 theaters and one IMAX theater. The IMAX theatre offers remastered film, higher sound quality, and a larger viewing screen for an ultimate movie experience. Birthday parties are offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Family favorite Saturdays show one movie between 11-11.30 a.m. for $2.99 per person. Tickets can be purchased online in advanced or at the box office door by kiosk. Play in-house arcade games, fun for the whole family, while you wait for your movie to start. Bring along your scene card and swipe when you purchase your tickets for free points that go towards free movies or groceries at Thrifty Foods.

Love this theater, though it could benefit from some accessibility adjustments to their stairs. However, I'm not sure there's a simple fix, and you can always just sit in the first row. Expensive concession, but they all are these days.

Typical modern theater but 20 minutes of ads and an IMAX putting out dangerous sound levels which appear not to be tested really detracts from the experience. I shouldn't need to plug my ears. Will be in touch with the management . These were well into the hearing damage range and I'm old..can't imagine the effects on kids. Bring ear plugs.

Horrible experience on April 10. The supervisor was rude to his employees and me. The Imax theater we were in was filthy, and the chair I was sitting in was broken. I understand the price of tickets and popcorn. Just not worth it. I'll go to Langford or downtown next time. I'd give 0 stars if I could have.
