It was a great experience! Sales personnel were very helpful and went out of there way to meet my needs. The store was clean and the employees were top notch. The lumber yard was well organized and easy to navigate. Definitely a return costumer!

best Slegg hands down. super organized. all the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. If other Sleggs were like this one I would do all my materials shopping there.

Not open on weekends when it's the only possible time for home owners to buy supplies.

My first time being at this location. It's laid out differently than Langford and a little more cramped but a familiar face directed me to what I needed. I can't get over the cost of lumber rising again.

This store when it was Dodd’s was a go to place. Since it changed hands the prices have gone up substantially. Today we were charged $37.99 for a box of drywall mud. I called the store in Langford to price the same item and it was $29.99. We drove to a store near Chemainus and it was $22.99 a box. Exact same product. I suggest it would be wise to shop around if you are price consciousNeedless to say we will be returning our purchase at slegg Duncan. The staff was very snitty and unfriendly and not at all helpful. When I called and questioned her on the difference in price her reply was I only go by what the computer says, you’ll have to take it up with the manager but when we purchased the exact same box of mud a couple weeks ago, the man at the counter was very helpful and accommodating. He did an override and charged us $23.99 a box. Something the girl today said she couldn’t do. Or perhaps she just didn’t care about customer satisfaction
