Great company and they are focus on you as a person & show great care. My mother is very happy from the owner who is awesome & super easy to deal with. The care lady that comes to assist my mother is also wonderful and soo dedicated to her job. Her name if not mistaken is Rachelle. After both our parents had falls, we wanted to get someone to come in a few times a week to help them with tasks like cooking, taking out garbage, laundry, yard work, and grocery shopping. We wanted them to be able to stay in their own home as long as possible. My siblings and I tried to convince Mom to get help, but she did NOT want a stranger coming into her home, especially into her kitchen, she insisted that she didn’t need any help. But when my dad moved into long term care, we convinced her to try it. Someone recommended Compassion Senior Care to us. We called, and the family met with two professional, empathetic Care Supervisors. They later matched Mom with a home care assistant (HCA). The first few weeks we heard a lot of complaints from Mom, but now, about 6 months later, we hear about how clever her HCA is, how she can do anything, how thoughtful she is, how much Mom appreciates her. The household runs smoothly. We as adult children feel that our responsibilities have been lightened—by a professional who really cares about Mom. Thank you, Compassion Senior Care!

I moved to Calgary from Surrey BC at the beginning of August 2017, to be near my daughter and her family. I resided at Bethany Care Centre at Hillside Manor for just over a year. My health, emotional and spiritual needs improved, so much so, that I was able to move to a Condo, provided by members of my family. Since I do not have a drivers licences to drive and being a widower living and having to make my own meals again, I was looking for some help to meet some of my needs.. Through another relative I was introduced to Compassion Senior Care which provided a qualified, competent trained person, who comes every two weeks for 4hrs., to take me shopping for groceries, suggests and prepares meals ahead for me in the freezer and helps with general house cleaning.With the help I am now receiving, I am able to spend more time to do Volunteer work in giving back to the community by visiting other seniors and seeking to be an encouragement, by coming alongside of them. It has also given me more time to do other activities and just being with my family from time to time. Not only that but for my family, they are so happy to have some other qualified person checking in on me every two weeks.Without question I highly recommend Compassion Senior Care as a helpful option for anyone who may face the need for a compassionate helping hand.
