We had our wedding at Le Grand R in late September and were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the venue and the exceptional service from staff. Over the course of planning, Miriam (the director) was responsive, professional, and accommodating. The location itself is breathtaking, nestled in nature and offering privacy and a special community feeling with guests staying in condos and chalets around the main room. The food was delicious - everyone especially loved the cappuccino mushroom soup and maple creme brule, and all was served in a timely manner with continuous wine service. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a more cozy and elegant wedding where everyone felt special. Many thanks to Miriam and her team, we highly recommend!

Great escape from the city. Secluded with multiple hiking trails and impressive views. Great staff and location. Rare to see pristine lakes like these. Enjoyed a cold beer on the patio overlooking a private lake after a long 20k hike, epic.

I came here for a wedding. The venue was beautiful, the condos were well maintained (but not really soundproof) and the lake is super cute. The parking is kind of all over the place, which was confusing at first but not a big deal. My only complaint is the staff. They were super rude upon entry and not willing to help calmly when I asked about my room. They were super stressed the whole night. They surely have management issues, cause no employees should be constantly that tense. The food was excellent and the service just right.

Attended a fall wedding on Sept. 25/20 - what a beautiful location!Studio condos extremely clean with everything you need including a Keurig (4 pods incl.), dishwasher, washer/ dryer. Best of all a patio facing the mountains and a lake - what a view! Food was delicious. Merci Serge for your extremely professional service and adding to the festive atmosphere! Would definitely return to The Grand R.

Amazing place who planned the wedding outside of the civilization. Chalets are also good and quiet. Just bring your BBQ and some outdoor games for your family

Our condo was perfect. Gorgeous windows with a gorgeous views. The battery in our safe died and Norman went over and beyond. He even suggested Ste Anne de last Pérade for ice fishing which was just an unforgettable experience. Thank you for a great time!!!

The team was very limited, they ran out of booze told us what to do all night and told the DJ to kill the party because people were having too much fun… why?They moved everyone’s jackets and purses without telling them…. usually weddings are a safe place with family and friends and people expect their belongings to stay at their assigned seats……Why??They also started cleaning up at 10 pm.. after all that fuss, the next day we had brunch and they weren’t even on time….Why?Really strict for no reason.. killed the vibeI would not book here.

The only reason for not giving a higher rating is that there's no air conditioning in the cabins. For the nightly price one would expect air conditioning. We did not sleep well considering it was 27 degrees inside the cabin... Probably time to invest in AC units.
