A & S Hand Car Wash

If I could give this place Minus stars, I would. Read below.....I intended to get my small sedan detailed today, so I called this establishment in advance and spoke to the owner. I specifically confirmed the availability for 12:30 pm, and the owner confidently assured me that there was an opening, encouraging me to use their service. His salesmanship over the phone was impressive, and he also provided me with a reasonable price. Based on this information, I made the decision to bring my business to this establishment. The owner's perceived sincerity over the phone played a significant role in my choice. I misjudged this sincerity greatly………Upon arriving at the location, I found that things were quite different from what the owner had led me to believe. There were five employees cleaning cars, all of whom appeared to be international students. Initially, I thought it was commendable that the business employed and supported the international students. Unfortunately, none of these individuals offered any assistance when I approached them. I specifically asked for the owner, but he was not present. It wasn't until the tallest employee reluctantly confirmed that he was the manager for the day that I received any attention. However, based on his demeanor and attitude, I had my doubts about his actual managerial status. He informed me that they did not have time to detail my car that day. I reminded him that the owner had assured me they would have the availability and that I drove all the way from Cloverdale. In response, he said “ I do half today and half tomorrow”, which I found unacceptable. Considering I had traveled based on the owner's information, this was highly disappointing. Furthermore, the manager requested an additional $30 compared to the agreed price. I requested that the manager call the owner to clarify. However, the manager seemed annoyed and made the call in front of me, speaking to the owner in Punjabi and falsely claiming that the price increase was due to the car being in burihal" (bad shape). Promised to pay my friend back after they DAMAGED his Protective film. Months later won’t do it.I take back my 5 star review based on this unprofessional behaviour…For shame!

They did a decent job and were done in an acceptable timeframe. Car was ready for pickup at the time told.

Avoid this car wash at all costs if you have paint protection film (PPF) on your vehicle. The employees here are not properly trained in using a pressure washer and can cause severe damage to your car's PPF.I went to A & S on September 28, 2022, for a standard detailing and car wash based on a friend's recommendation. While the initial job seemed satisfactory, upon returning home, I noticed that the paint protection film on my car's hood had been damaged (see attached photo), as a result of the employee holding the pressure washer too close to my vehicle which stripped the film.I consulted with my go-to PPF specialist, Ken Wilson from Autowerkes Exclusive, who confirmed that the damage was indeed caused by a pressure washer. I immediately returned to A & S to speak to the owner/manager, Amarjit, who at first was skeptical that the damage was caused by his employee and began gaslighting me saying the film was installed poorly. However, after I assured him that my PPF specialist had said it was 100% because of the pressure washer, Amarjit agreed to cover the cost of the replacement and told me to get the shop to directly bill the invoice to him. Initially, I was pleased with this resolution and proceeded with getting the film on the hood replaced by Autowerkes Exclusive.However, when Ken later submitted the invoice for the replacement to Amarjit, we found out he provided us with a fake email address, which led to several months of phone calls and emails, which he ignored. Eventually, he provided the correct email address and finally replied to Ken last week but his email was rude and condescending (see attached photo) claiming that I had quoted him a cost of $100-150, which was untrue. I kept him informed of the situation at every step, and he was fully aware it would cost more than that. I don't even know where you can get PPF installed for $100, I'd be happy to know where I could've gotten it done professionally for that price.Furthermore, he lied about it being his 3rd time" responding. This is the first time in 6 months since September that he's ever replied by email and he seems to be purposefully dragging out the situation to avoid his responsibilities. He clearly has no intentions of making things right with his customers and now let alone the replacement

They were really quick and the overall look of the car was ok but they didn’t vacum some obvious spots like the door pockets or under the seats. Good for a touchup before you go and actually clean it up yourself.

I paid to have my car detailed inside and out. When I arrived it wasn’t ready, and I had to wait 30 minutes for them to finish it. When I inspected it, I noticed numerous things they had missed. After I got home, I discovered additional issues with their workmanship. I do not recommend this business for many reasons, and that’s why I’m giving them a 1 star review.

Standard Sevice. Only Giving them 3.5 stars as the car cleaning inside the car wasn't up to the mark. I wasin hurry so didn't bothered saying much to them, but they definitely need better cleaning products to satisfy clients. Payed 63 dollars for my Rogue. But not a satisfactory service in my view.

A Friend of mine was told a certain price over the phone. When he got there, they tried to rip him off by asking for 30 dollars more. It wasn't about the money, it was about the attempted trickery to get my friend to actually drive there.

I called and they told me to pop on in, that they were not busy. Fantastic. Off I went.When I arrived, I told the gentleman that I would like the passenger area cleaned and the expert up washed. The vehicle is a Nissan NV200, so really small passenger area. I handed him the keys.The exterior was quite clean but the plastic floors inside had dried mud on them. Not caked on, but enough. The vehicle only has 5500 kilometres on it, so you know it can’t be that dirty.Maybe it’s because he already had the keys, so he felt he was getting the work, but when I asked how much, he grumbled $100. I was surprised and asked why….he said he would have to extract the floors. That’s silly. A bucket of warm water and a towel and the floors were clean in my driveway in 8 minutes.My wife had our previous vehicles fully detailed there previously. We won’t be back.EDIT: he told me to come down to price it. The reality was, it was a small job. Nothing irregular at all. The price should have been $45 to $50.$100 was ridiculous and he knew and. And so do you.Edit #2: I didn't have much time and had to get my ride cleaned up. I decided to go back for a second time. I called, and they told me 'come, not busy'. I arrived five minutes later and the place was packed.I didn't have much choice, so I decided to wait. The guys working there did a great job. I have upgraded my rating from 1 to 2 stars and may try again.
