Al's Gourmet Falafel and Fries
Boy, am I ever so happy to have found this place! My first trip to the Salt Spring Island and I feel like I found the gem of this town. Their poutine is so good and just hit the spot! I wish I had more room to order other things as this was just a quick snack stop after lunch! Will definitely visit again to try other things on the menu!

Ok falafel but very pricey however nice fresh ingredients. The fries are decent. Loved the seating area. Took a fair bit of time to get the food but there was only one person working and the food orders were steady. Cute little truck and friendly service.

Al's Gourmet Falafel and Fries
I knew I had to stop by this place when I first heard about it. My family (including our dog) enjoyed a wonderful meal here. The Big Al falafel pita was absolutely delicious, the eggplants together with the crispy falafel and pickled turnips were a divine combination. I highly recommend it! Thank you for the delicious meal, much love from Vancouver! We hope to be back soon.

Al's Gourmet Falafel and Fries
Super nice service, more then expected! Portions are really generous and we could ask jalapenos on the side and really generous on the portion! Our dog was happy, he had a water bowl and is acvept d on patio. The supreme poutine is awesome! Coming from Quebec, the homemade gravy is different but super good! We recommend it !

Amazing food. The falafel is superb here. And it’s a nice place to sit and eat. Service was good. Got my food quick and it was very tasty.Must stop here if in Salt Spring Island.

Super yummy and filling. Nice quaint spot to eat at. The fries are a bit too salty imo. Love the veggies included in the wrap, gives the wrap a fresh taste and cuts through the grease.Owners are extremely friendly!

This is the best grub joint in town! Extremely stoked about how good this place is looked, super cool and did not disappoint.Delicious and gigantic falafel, the perfect balance of not too oily or dry and crispy fresh to order. I got the Falafel Wrap in which it was stuffed with additional fresh crispy garden salad, olives and a killer homemade tahini dressing, topped with hot sauce.A great experience of home style cooking with fresh, organic and ethically sustainable locally sourced ingredients. They also have water refill station in the quaint seating area where you can chill in the sun and chow down your meal.Extremely nice staff and a great place. Support local!

Heard good things about this place so decided to check it out. Service great, very friendly. The food was underwhelming. We both ordered the southwestern chicken kebab salad ( comes with tahini, chipotle Mayo and candied jalapeño). Salad was wayyy over dressed, tahini was amazing but couldn’t taste chipotle Mayo and no candied jalapeño. The chicken was pretty disgusting….. seems either fake or very fatty and undercooked. Would not come back here.

Al's Gourmet Falafel and Fries
Meaning to check this place out for a while. Finally had a chance to try yesterday. I had the southwestern kebab pit and a poutine. I really enjoyed it and the service was great too. Super nice and chill, excited about your excitement. Definitely going back.
