Scarborough Civic Centre
Every time I come to one of the offices in this building (property tax payment office especially) - and the passport office building - I see older people who don’t know English being mistreated. I don’t know what makes any of you feel you can get irritated or speak down to people because they can’t understand you. A sad and SHAMEFUL sight to see as you people work for the GOVERNMENT. You should be trained better, and given a lesson in HUMANITY.

An open urban area with unique buildings on site worth exploring. Check out the Civic Centre and it’s unique for it’s time architecture and the outdoor water feature on site which converts to a skating rink in winter.

It's just that people working there were very professional and kind. They were very generous with their time. You could tell they just wanted to get things right. I've never been there before and I feel fortunate that I found out it.

A civic center located in Scarborough. The building served as the municipal office and office for the Education Board.

They offer a free outdoor skating rink. It was my first time there and I’d say the rink is well kept. It is smaller but there’s plenty of bench space to put your skates on and there’s a public washroom inside the civic centre

Free wifi, and good quite atmosphere at least on weekends, there's also a koi pond and skating rink!

Scarborough Civic Centre
We went skating here recently, the rink is well maintained and was cleaned just before our skate time. The rink is tucked away in the middle so if you are new to the area you can park on the street or in one of the lots and walk to the interior side and you will see the rink. It can be confusing for first time visitors. Lots of benches to change skates.
