Dental cleaning costed around $1200 including the RAPS dental discount for my 3 y/o healthy cat. I advise to look around for quotes because they may be less or similar price than RAPS 40% off dental discount. Regardless, I'll still come here for my cat's annual check-up because the staff are amazing, but I will look around for better prices for dental cleaning.

They often advertised 40 percent discount for surgeries including dental cleaning. But be careful the so called 40 percent discount is actually 50% more than a regular vet charged for teeth cleaning. First you have to pay the vet for full examination which is not cheap then they gave you an estimate which over $1,500 for regular dental cleaning without an extraction after their so called 40 percent discount. I went to the vet in Seattle and it only cost $500. So be careful reading their ads about so called 40 percent discount. They made comments that they are helping animal in needs etc etc.I worked for non for profit before called retirement housing and the board of directors and CEO and President is actually making more than Fortune 100 companies. My comments are simply to educate the public to shop around. RAPS does not means you are saving $ because they worked more efficient or they are non profit. You practically are paying a lot more in my example $700 more !!!You have choices and it is free market. Shop around and find a better vet.

I had such a terrible experience with this vet hospital three weeks ago. I brought my cat in for what was supposed to be just a check up as I noticed a little bit of an increase in breathing rate but I definitely did not expect that it would be my last hours with my cat that day. Instead of receiving the care my cat needed, he only got worse after examination and some strange treatment at this vet hospital. The vet, Dr. REGAN SCHWARTZ, gave the injection that actually made him feel worse than before, and when I expressed my concern, they didn't seem to care. They blamed that the cat was in this condition when we brought him in.To make matters worse, while my cat was behind the closed door at the back and I didn’t even know how he was feeling at that moment, the vet came out to me to discuss my bill and why I didn’t want to pay for a second opinion on X-ray that costs $500. Moreover, she asked me what my budget is which I find highly inappropriate. I think her main focus should have been on saving my cat's life rather than discussing my budget. I couldn't believe it!!! I was there to get help for my beloved pet, not to have a discussion about money. When they brought my cat back to the room, I was in shock to see how he was struggling to breathe and they said it is okay. They did not care to provide any help. When finally they realized that our cat's condition was deteriorating rapidly, doctor said we should rush to the emergency as my cat is struggling and might die. What??? Seriously?? Why did I come to you in a first place???I rushed to a nearest emergency vet clinic. Unfortunately, it was too late, and my poor cat passed away before we even made it there. It was devastating to lose our beloved pet, and we couldn't help but feel like the negligence of this vet hospital played a big role in his death. The whole vibe in the hospital was unpleasant, and I felt like they were more interested in making a profit than actually helping animals. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, and I urge pet owners to AVOID it at all costs. If you truly care about your pets, find a vet who will put pet’s health and well-being first. If you love your pets and want them to receive the best possible care, please do NOT take them to this vet hospital. They do not prioritize the well-being of animals, and their lack of empathy and professionalism can have devastating consequences. Please learn from my experience and find a reputable vet who truly cares about your pets.RESPONSE to RAPS:Thx for the long awaited reply after ignoring multiple emails. Firstly, my cat was a male, not female as referred. Attention to such details is crucial for accurate communication, isn’t it? Secondly, it is important to note that no financial assistance was offered during my visit to your clinic. All you asked is what my budget was. When I brought my cat to your clinic, he was NOT in critical condition. I believe that reviewing the CCTV would clearly depict the state in which my cat was brought to your facility. However, when he started struggling with each breath after your “treatments”, I requested immediate help, expressing my concerns about his deteriorating condition. However, was informed that your clinic did not have necessary stuff and was advised to rush to another vet clinic. I promptly sought help from another clinic, but sadly didn’t make it there on time. Given the circumstances, it is disheartening to be accused of being abusive. I handled the situation calmly and respectfully. As mentioned above, reviewing the camera footage would provide an accurate account of my behaviour during entire visit. It is essential to consider that comments from multiple individuals have shed light on their experiences with your clinic. Collective accounts can provide insight into the overall image and reputation of your clinic. Your actions are louder than responses to comments.

The quality of care you get from RAPS is unparalleled. You can really tell they care about your pet and take the time to go over everything with you and answer any questions you have in an easy to understand way. Our dog gets quite anxious at the vet and they make an effort to make the appointments as comfortable for her as possible. I can’t recommend them enough

I really like the people that work there, they're super nice and very attentive to my dog. The prices aren't always the cheapest but they are also fundraising to help other animals sometimes. I do have to price check some things for my own budgeting, but for the most part their service is really good they follow up via text message. All the records are digital and convenient to update. They have a VIP program as well that offers some discounts. My pup doesn't like the vet..but he likes the people!

RAPS is hands down the best vet clinic I have experienced to date. Their care for my dog Hugo has been amazing. I have never received such thorough information and compassion all at the same time. An entire team was assigned to Hugo through his traumatic week. The non-profit concept makes it more about the animals and less about the business. I drive from Langley to Richmond so my dog can receive their care.

So far so good. Very attentive and took the time to listen to my issues with my dog and devised a plan. This place is a bit further than the vet I went to previously, but I plan to stick around here due to the great service. I also love that it’s not for profit.
