Penfolds Roofing & Solar

Do NOT use this company. If I could give zero stars I would. They were working on neighbors roof and one of their subcontractors destroyed my driveway while removing garbage bin. They responded to my initial email saying they are not responsible for their subcontractors and have ignored every following email & phone call since, which is completely unprofessional. We were not asking for a new driveway, just that they fix what was destroyed. They subcontract almost all facets of the job and obviously don't stand behind their work. What's to stop them from not standing behind an install by a subcontractor, using the same excuse, and you are stuck with a leaky roof? BEWARE do not even ask for a quotation from this company. Go to someone who backs up their work.

The reason I choose Penfolds was for their professional service and financing options. But apparently they were unable to provide the financing and without any notice they started the work. I had to pay the whole amount within 3days unless Luke threatened me to stop the ongoing work. On top of that they’ve charged additional cost addition to the quote that was given by doing a pre assessment. My question is what’s the point of doing an assessment if they have to add extra after providing the quote. This is something not expected from any big companies like Penfolds.

We had a new metal roof installed on our house. We found everyone very professional and friendly. We had one minor problem but when I called Adam someone was sent out quickly and it was dealt with right away. Would highly recommend Penfolds to anyone wanting a reliable company. Great experience with Penfolds.The crew was friendly and would always wave ‘hello’ to my kids. The removal and installation was completed within three days!Highly recommend.

During the research process our quote came back in a timely manner with no pressure to commit. All prices were straight forward and reasonable. Any of our questions after receiving the quote were answered thoroughly and thoughtfully. I really appreciated having a team member that is works with the customer through the booking and installation process. For our installation we got the same professionalism as before. We received a cancelation time that we previously asked if we were comfortable with. There was no pressure to commit to getting cancelation times. The install team and our contact did a great job of getting everything done in a timely and quality manner.

The sales team for the installation of solar panels was amazing but everything after that lagged in customer service. Workers would show up with no warning. Had so many issues with the city inspector in Maple Ridge that we are 8 months since installation with still no repairs yet to complete the inspection. Every time we had something booked and I had to make arrangements to be home would be cancelled with no notification. I’m always having to hunt the installation team to get any answers as well as calling the city myself to find out why my inspector suddenly didn’t show up on the day it was scheduled. The product itself is amazing but customer service and communication is horrible.

It was an excellent experience having Penfolds replace my roof, gutters, and skylights. When I was looking to have my roof replaced, I called around to a number of local roofers. I had a hard time even getting somebody to come out to take a look. It was very frustrating. I called Penfolds and they were super responsive and got the process started right away. They really made everything very easy and they seem like a very well-organized company. The roofers themselves were very professional and courteous. They kept the job site very neat and tidy and the project was completed very quickly. The quality of the installation seems superb. I'd like to give a shout out to Hamish, who really went above and beyond coordinating the project. He was super helpful, answered all my questions in detail, and always made himself available to work around my schedule. 5 stars, I would highly recommend.

Penfolds has just completed installing a new roof on my home. I had a old fashion cedar roof and they have installed a duriod system. The attention to detail and hard work that the installers put into their work was top notch. The need for a new roof was prompted by a leak. I signed the contact and within two hours a crew was on my doorstep and repaired the leak. Best warranty I could find great staff highly recommend.

Penfolds installed 14 PV solar panels on the roof of my home back in 2016, then another 14 in 2017. Staring from negotiation, through communication, installation, and finally commissioning the PV system was prompt, detailed, and very professional.They communicated in advance when is their team going to deliver and install PV panels. They worked with the city I live in to commission and connect to the grid, cleaned after the installation, and finally explained what was done and how.I was very well informed of all steps along the way, and I appreciate that a lot.Also, I must add that their installation team is well mannered, no loud music, no swearing or yelling on the site.
