Andre is so wonderful and patient with children. It is such a great place for all (kids and adults) to learn both physically and intellectually. I would recommend Tigers Lair to anyone and everyone.

Andre is a world champion and his energy and mentorship is unmatched. Niagara is fortunate to have this marital arts school. Karate classes highly recommended for children who need more structure/fitness/self-defence. Also adult cardio kickboxing and MMA is among the best in the region.

This review is from my 9 year old daughter… I asked her why she enjoys karate and why she likes Tiger’s Lair, she said “I am learning to defend myself, and I’m making new friends.” “ Shihan is a strong teacher.” My daughter looks forward to her lessons, and is more confident in herself. There are a lot of reasons to train in karate: fitness, improved confidence, acquire skills in self-defense, prepare for competitions, or learn an attitude and philosophy that can benefit you in other areas of life. Tiger's Lair is great for helping it's students learn and grow in all of these ways.I joined 3 years ago and I now feel healthier, stronger and more confident than I ever have. I have also seen many other students benefit from the teaching and training of Sensei Lemieux (from young kids about 4-5 years old to adults in their golden years). He is patient, professional, and great at teaching kids (he knows how to make physical training fun!)Whether you want to dive deep into the traditions of Karate, or just need an effective regimen for physical fitness, I would recommend Tiger Lair's Karate any day of the week.

Shihan Andre is an incredible instructor who has created a safe and respectful environment for students of all levels of physical ability to learn and grow. His limitless patience, kindness and dedication to Karate practice are inspiring. I feel very fortunate to be able to train with him.

Andre really rewards effort and results. He encourages his students to push themselves to try harder, do better, and they respond to his motivation.

My favorite thing about Andre and Tiger's Lair is the focus on respect, and inner strength.Any karate school can teach your kids how to throw a punch. The most valuable lesson they'll receive is the confidence to be strong in life, which is necessary at the best of times.
