West Island Music Academy - WIMA

Absolutely love WIMA. I've been a student for a few years now. Classes are always adapted to my needs and the energy is really great. I was able to seamlessly continue my classes online during Covid. Amazing teachers.

We have been die-hard WIMA fans for years. The entire WIMA community of teachers and staff make it their mission to support all students, encourage them and bring out the best in each and every one of them. Their customer service is second to none. They are approachable and flexible.Simone is a phenomenally gifted teacher. She inspires her students and gets them excited for each lesson. I have seen the incredible growth in my children in terms of their music education and abilities, and it is thanks to this incredible music school.

WIMA is truly fantastic. Our kids have grown so much, both musically and personally. They are now in one of WIMA's rock bands and loving every second of it. This school is so open-minded and cool! Imagine, whenever your kid likes a particular song (in any genre), his/her WIMA teacher will enthusiastically take it apart and help your child learn it right there! Isn't that what we dreamed of when we were their age? WIMA students know that they are part of a large and very supportive family. So, when they see themselves on group photos from recitals of past years, they know that they have already achieved something the entire family is aware of. Keep up your awesome work, WIMA! Ilya, Simone, Jacob, Michael, Emily, Joel, Derek and all WIMA staff! Thank you, thank you!!! You rock and you know it :)

Our experience at WIMA has been really fantastic. My kids have had three different teachers, and each one has been really knowledgeable, genuine, flexible and encouraging. My kids love going to WIMA... so much so that one of my daughters has foregone all other extracurricular activities so that she can have two lessons a week, voice and guitar. The administration side has also been great, and Aliya at the front desk is a gem.

My 7 yr-old son Elijah has been taking his guitar and drum lesson at the Cote St-Luc branch for 2 years now and he loves it!! The teachers are great and knowledgeable, the staff are wonderful and friendly, the place is warm and inviting. My son has definitely improved a lot, he will continue going to his lessons. Much thanks to Aliya, Shane and Ethan (plus Ilya) and to all the awesome WIMA teachers!!! Thank you WIMA!! Keep on rockin'!

We're new to WIMA and my kids are taking voice and drum lessons. Their teachers instantly built a rapport with them and motivate them to keep practicing and coming back for more. Can't wait to hear them in the recitals!

My son loves WIMA, and his ukulele teacher, Nicolas. He is very encouraging and instils confidence. The school is very well managed. There's always a kind voice who answers the phone and at the times that I need to send e-mail messages, I receive a response quickly.Looking forward to continuing our relationship with the school!

My daughter absolutely loves loves loves WIMA! Her teacher Marvin is amazing, patient and motivates her to do her best! She looks forward to each lesson :)

Amazing school and very professional. My son has had a few drum teachers at other schools and Jonathan at WIMA CSL is by far the best!

Amazing music school - we go on Westminster for piano with Ebony, who is really great with kids! The entire team is very responsive too and good choice of instruments.
