Powell River

The majority of the people here are super friendly, and seem to enjoy helping others when they really need it. There are a lot of different kinds of beaches nearby, and a swimming pool for those who don't like swimming in the lakes or ocean. There are a ton of trails to hike on, and a recreational complex really close to the middle of town.

A quiet, and peaceful little town with endless hiking and biking trails as well as many other outdoor activities to enjoy such as kayaking and paddle boarding. The people are laid back and relaxed and very friendly here and it seems like most people own a dog here . There are historical landmarks and heritage sites to explore and also 32 lakes in the surrounding area to visit and enjoy ,most of them have hiking trails around or near them . The wildlife is literally in the streets ...I've seen deer walking around in town almost every day as well as sealions ,whales ,dolphins and eagles ,hawk's,ravens ,and many more kinds of birds and wildlife to see with very little effort to find . There is also a cornucopia of artists and crafters here creating incredible art and crafts available for purchase !

Love this area, I definitely like coming out this way and going on the goat trail they call hwy 101 with a big truck and super B's, keeps a trucker on his game.
