HOLY MOLY, such an amazing little place, I came to do a little work on my computer. Adorable book store in a cute original building. The food is absolutely incredible, I'd give them 10/5 just for the food alone! I had a roast beef sandwich and a mango coconut drink and it's the best lunch I've ever had. I will be coming back every time I pass through golden! The staff is so friendly too. Come here if you want the best vibe, decor, staff, food and drinks in town!

The neatest bookstore! New and used books, 2 levels, coffee and snacks upstairs (smells and tastes delicious), and unique gifts available. Fantastic old building with interesting details. Outside seating on main level along river. Inside seating upstairs facing the street.

This old building is a book store on the ground floor. But, go up the stairs (possibly original) to the coffee shop, and you can get used books. Then go and sit outside at the back beside the river.The Cafe Mocha was excellent, and I returned the next day for another.

Lovely book store with some great sales under 5$. Lots of gems. A coffee shop is also located upstairs with lots of coffee style to choose from. There is a backyard sitting area where you can relax with a nice coffee and your dog.

Such a fun little bookshop to stumble upon. In fact, we'll make a special trip just to visit this book shop our next time through. A lovely selection of both used & new books displayed in a very artful, creative way. It was fun just to browse. Upstairs is a cafe with a yummy selection of homemade foods items. We got the carrot cake and a pina colada smoothie. Both were delicious. Definitely worth a stop and a special thanks to the owners/ managers for making & sharing such a delightful, creative space.

Great little bookstore with a cool nostalgic vibe. Coffee and treats are upstairs and there is a patio out back that is great for some morning sun. Definitely a place to check out in Golden

Interesting place, brownie was good, flat white was served really messy, dirty big mug filled 1/3 (obviously I understand what a flat white is) But wouldn’t it be better to serve coffee in a smaller cup? And clean cup?

I will have to give this place 2 stars only. Even though the environment was good and warm, I could not believe what I got in my iced mocha cup: more than half of the cup was just ice. I barely had 3 sips and all the mocha was already gone. I pay around $7 for that. I truly believe in supporting local businesses but this kind of behaviour has to stop! I could have got a similar product from McDonald’s or 7Eleven, for a better price. This was truly disappointing.

A gem of a bookstore. The young lady who helped me find three of the books from my wish list was so polite, smart and helpful. My coffee was delicious.
