Antojo Tacos + Tequila
Went for the $4 tacos on Tuesday… incredible. Highly recommend the chicken tinga and the fish taco - but they’re all amazing.Their hot sauces are unreal, definitely try them! We bought 3 to take home lolAlso, the bar tender we had is so awesome!! I can’t remember his name but he knows what he’s doing. Very good service!

I haven’t tried a lot of Mexican restaurants in Halifax but I was extremely happy with Antojo! All our dishes were perfect and were extremely good price wise. All items were prepared very swiftly!The nachos were baked to the crisp! The tacos too seemed to be the show stealer(understandably given their name). I had the Chicken Quesadilla personally this time to try something different (I’m more of a burrito guy) and definitely loved it. The chicken stuffing was delicious. Only nit pick would be it wasn’t as spicy as I wished for but they had an assortment of sauces on our table which was useful for me.The atmosphere is perfect if you’re out and looking to have a nice relaxing time. Good music, nice vibes and importantly fantastic food. Definitely earned a permanent spot on my Halifax list of restaurants!

The quality of the food is great and the homemade hot sauces are very much appreciated. The atmosphere is spectacular and the servers are friendly.Feedback: Our table ordered both chips and salsa and guacamole. They were delicious but we ended up with a lot of extra dips and no chips left. We asked for some more chips and we received them but were never cautioned that we would be charged. I would still have ordered them if I knew I was going to be charged but it would have been great to know. At the same time, even in this time of high inflation, with a low cost item like chips, it would be great if you could at least get a second serving free of charge. As someone who works in the food business, it’s disappointing to see the amount of food waste that occurs and I felt bad wasting salsa at the end of the meal because we had nothing left to use it with.It would also be great if some more vegan options were added to the menu / a vegetarian taco with some kind of protein in it.

Wow! This place is a well-known but hidden gem. It did not disappoint. The Chile Relleno is absolutely amazing. The salsas were great. And the churros the cherries on top. Plenty of veggie and gluten free options. Excellent atmosphere, a bit on the noisy side, but totally worth it.

The food was absolutely delicious! The drinks and food are priced well and they gave a covered terrace incase it raina or you can eat inside.Service was great and friendly!I would definitely return when I'm back in town and highly recommend this place as it was recommended to me by someone else!

Hola’, this place is authentic mexican cusine. The atmosphere is spot on with sugar skulls everywhere. The music takes the ambiance to the next level. The staff are attentive, prompt and professional. Big thanks to the bartender David for all the right choices. They know right when to engage and at what part of the meal. Kudos to the staff for doing the ballet as intended. On to the food. The food was extremely flavorful and authentic. The drinks were spot on and brought back memories of my last Mexico vacation. I only have great things to say and can recommend this place whole heartedly. I will be back… till then.

Antojo Tacos + Tequila
Great spot in general and for the Taco Tuesday deal. The tacos we tried all tasted great, the roasted mushrooms and baja fish stood out for us. The nachos were hot and crispy and large enough to share. We tried a tequila from each group, blanco, reposado and añejo, all smooth and flavourful. Our server was fantastic and gave us great recommendations. We will visit again.
