Kal Tire

At least my fourth review for Kal Tire, Sparwood and each time my experience has been 5 Star all the way around!I cannot say enough about the service here. Each team member from Sam (front desk) to Tony (mechanic) and Craig (shop manager)… All are are exceptional at what they do.Consistently the job is completed on time and on budget. No hidden surprises and always a clear explanation up front of what needs to be done.Thank you again to each Kal Tire team member for your honest and dependable service!

Fit me in last minute to plug my new tire. AJ (tire mechanic) walked me through the process and offered sage advice on the repair. Experienced and friendly staff really saved me from having to buy new tires. Thanks again!

Got my vehicle inspected at a Cranbrook auto, who informed me I had a wheel bearing issue that needed to be repaired at a tire shop. I was charged for the inspection there.I booked with Kaltire and advised them of the issue that needed to be repaired. They said they had to re-inspect there, and I said that was fine, but I needed the repair done that day, they said that was fine and they'll book me in the morning so they have the afternoon to repair it. I showed up for my appointment and they finished their diagnosis and again told me it was a wheel bearing issue, but said they didn't have time to fix it that day. I was at this point obviously frustrated since I had now taken off two afternoons from work and still didn't have my vehicle repaired and was now charged two inspection fees. They informed me Kaltire in Cranbrook (my usual location) would be able to see the inspection notes. I took it to Kaltire in Cranbrook, who were not able to see the Sparwood inspection notes. I took it in for a third inspection, and there they found other issues, and this time I was quoted $2k, instead of the $500, which the other two shops told me it would cost to fix the issue. My appointment time was mixed up, and they put someone who was suppose to come after me before me. 6 hours and 2K later, and I've decided this will be the last time I'll ever go to a Kaltire.

. My tire was low and it was the 3 time this happen. I went to Kal tire on Monday Aug 8, 2022. Asked if they could check since I was from Lethbridge. The guy filled it up and then told me they had no time to figure out what it was just to drive it home. When thank god it didn’t wreck my tire but I had a nail in. So very disappointed in this Kal tire.

They were awesome to deal with. We accidentally passed out after our night shift in the lobby. 10/10 recommend.

2 weeks ago, I had a run flat on a Kal Tire Toyota sized passenger car tire. It was due to valve stems not being changed at time of tire purchase in 2018. The replacement tire was not available for 2 weeks. I was advised to just run on the mini spare, however I had 2 long distance out of town trips to make in this 2 week period. I had previously bought Kal Tire spares on rims, and advised the counter person. They consulted top management at this branch and said ok, put them on instead of the mini spare. Before leaving, I ask if there was paperwork needing to be signed. I'm waived off to go. 2 weeks pass, the tire comes in, and Stacy makes me aware all of a sudden I have a $26 dollar charge for bolting on mounted and balanced tires (purchased from Kal tire) instead of the mini spare. If I were told that day 2 weeks ago fine, but nobody told me anything 2 weeks prior. I inquire to corporate customer service and they make it right, BUT when it comes to customer service at the branch level I did receive backlash, Stacy informs me I can bring in my rim and they will mount it, but I should carry it away loose and mount it myself. It is what happened, I did as she wished. And 1 more comment from Craig the branch manager by way of Stacy passing THE MESSAGE, Go have your tires dealt with in future at Lethbridge Kal tire (where I bought this set) as you do not appreciate us here". Such lovely and helpful staff! Booking my tire change over was easy and they dropped me back off at work and offered to pick me up when my SUV was done.

Was informed by a coworker that my rear passenger side tire was missing a lugnut. I decided to stop by here to have this fixed and the service was fast and friendly, I just wish I could remember who it was that helped me as he was extremely helpful!
