I recently had the pleasure of attending an event at Dhaliwal Hall and I must say that my experience was greatly enhanced by the exceptional service provided by Munleen, our server. Munleen's professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor truly made our experience memorable.From the moment we were seated, Munleen greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Her genuine enthusiasm for the food and the establishment was evident, and it made us even more excited to try the dishes.Throughout our time, Munleen demonstrated exceptional attention to detail. She was quick to refill our drinks, promptly cleared empty plates, and ensured that we had everything we needed. Her timing was impeccable, striking the perfect balance between being attentive without being intrusive.One thing that truly stood out was Munleen's ability to personalize the experience. She remembered our preferences and made thoughtful suggestions based on our tastes. It felt like she genuinely cared about our dining experience, and that level of personalized service is something that is increasingly rare to find.Furthermore, Munleen's knowledge of the menu was impressive. She had an excellent understanding of the ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods of each dish. Her recommendations were spot on, and we were delighted with every dish we tried.In addition to her professional skills, Munleen's friendly and warm personality made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I attended a family wedding reception last week at this hall and the service, food and experience were absolutely terrible.The servers are so incredibly unprofessional - they made the night a disaster for us. They have absolutely no knowledge of event service. Throughout the night, everyone’s plates and drinks kept getting picked up by the servers even if the guest wasn’t done. They would keep coming by every few minutes and asking if they could take the cutlery away - during one instance, a guest was actively eating from their plate when they got asked this question. On several other occasions, completely full beverage glasses and full dessert cups were picked up and thrown away from the tables. Sometimes guests have to leave their tables temporarily to talk to others, mingle, etc., but that does not mean they come back and their plate full of food is gone. Some of our family members instructed the staff several times not to do that unless we specially asked, but the servers completely ignored us. The hosts ordered an expensive dessert bar for their event but sadly many guests couldn’t enjoy them because the servers kept picking them off the table. One time a plate of cake was intentionally hidden underneath 4-5 purses and we watched a server move the purses aside to take it away. So unprofessional and what a waste of food/money for the hosts!Dhaliwal used to be known for their good food but that has evidently changed. The food we had was either way too salty, spicy, or undercooked. We had to return a couple appetizer plates because of these reasons and even when new food was brought out, it wasn’t any better. The main course was also not great. The main entrees were over spiced and the naans were over cooked/dry to the point you couldn’t eat them. For what the price per plate is nowadays, this was an absolute disgrace.The hall overall is very outdated. During the speeches, we could hear echos in the sound system thought out the hall (we’ve never experienced this before). Everything from the carpets to lighting to the washrooms need a major overhaul. This is not a hall you want to book if you’re looking for an updated, upscale ambiance. Here you will get the feel that you’re attending an event back in 2005.Throughout the night, we saw one manager who also didn’t appear to know what he was doing. It didn’t appear he knew what his job was as manager because he provided no guidance or direction to his staff all night. We saw him sitting to the side on his phone a lot more than him walking around making sure everything was running smoothly. Total incompetence.All in all, Dhaliwal’s reputation has gone downhill severely over the years. Having experienced this type of service last week makes me never wanting to book an event here. Please be cautious if you’re thinking of booking this venue in the future as our experience was sadly very disappointing.

I am navdeep kaur i really like the ambience here and the staff is really good here the way they explained about different drinks and appetizers is really nice. I got service from sandeep and she is amazing. Her accent,fluency and way of treating customers is fantastic.

Attended lohri party of my nephew last month , I was quite disappointed and bit shocked with service because usually their service is the best! All tables had numbers but servers were too confused ( probably new to the job and lacking proper training) half of the tables were not served all the snacks. What ever served was good except spinach chicken. Date was Feb 18th bigger hall.

I came here for a bridal shower on May 20th and ate a popsicle that was catered at the banquet hall -> the very next day I developed a formation of pus in the tonsils that blocked my entire airway and had to go through multiple hospital visits from then to now and am still going - turns out that popsicle had an uncommon bacteria that caused infectious diseases to my tonsil and because of it I cannot eat or speak properly - the bride did not cater these popsicles, it was catered from Dhaliwal banquet hall- and everyone at my table ate the food but the popsicle -unfortunately I was the only one who ate it and ended up in the hospital several times-I haven’t eaten out anytime before Dhaliwal banquet hall and the popsicle resembled to those expired popsicles they sold at Fruiticana - I have a feeling those were imported from India or been sitting there in their freezer for a very long time -it’s truly disgusting to have such a well known banquet hall cater unhygienic food to their customers, at one certain time I was so eager to call the food inspector on this place and have them shut down but I am at the hospital almost every week (Surgeons office) at times too. To everyone reading this ,please be careful of what you eat at the banquet hall, as now I have to suffer the consequences of health problems I had never had before .

Had jaggo event in smaller hall here during weekday. Service was excellent. They had servers check in on guests frequently to make sure guests got all food/drinks available. The food was amazing! Bar service was excellent, no lines, no issues with ordering as they had well trained bartenders there. Staff was very prompt with their response to anything that was asked. Family did not have to oversee anything during event, it was all taken care of so we can enjoy our night.

I had an opportunity to visit many banquet halls over the years and I have been to this particular one many times as well, they are absolutely amazing. Each visit is an improvement over the previous. Let's start with the design, they keep with the times and change it over the years, they make really good arrangements for every party's needs. Their food is beyond amazing, always something new and tasty to try.

We have our Staff Christmas party in Whistler. The food was provided by Dhaliwal Catering company from Surrey. Their all dishes were delicious. Not only was the food delicious but their staff was very helpful and respectful. They all went above and beyond so we could have our best Christmas party. Thank you.

Guest service is great. Food is so delicious and hygienic environment.

Great banquet hall it has a beautiful atmosphere
