Been to that school since kindergarten, growing up I realized more and more how lame and progressively worse the school got. It has its pros but the biggest cons is realizing how much that school hinders students expressions and creativity as they are not allowed to dye their hair, dress a certain way or girls can’t wear pants for uniforms because this school is old fashioned and conservative. They don’t care about the students comfortability or ability to find themselves when high school is the prime time to discover it. To parents it may seem like a good school but knowing students personally they feel miserable and some have moved just because they hated it here. What matters is what your child enjoys and likes instead of how good the school is claimed to be. So consider things more before bothering to apply.

Most of the teachers here are amazing and kind and super passionate about teaching which is not always something you see in schools. The cafeteria food has good portions and great quality food for quite a low price of $5. However, the grading system here makes it harder to get a good score as a B in a regular school is a C here. Also, there are almost no career options here, the school counsellor is horrible at advising a good college or university to go to, and there is only one advanced class. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone as my first choice but it's a decent school with a tuition fee lower than other private schools.

My daughter has been going here since Kindergarten (who is now in Grade 2!) The staff truly do care about the students - they pray with them & give them the attention each student needs. If you want your child to continue the same christian principals in a school setting I would highly recommend Regent.

Decent school, Needs more room for self expression and creativity its very academic with strict rules. Also they could put the money to better things not just flat screen tv's. I love most of the teachers they are great but everyday there is the same it needs more variety and fun so students look forward to going to school

Obviously the students will rate low especially when things don’t go their way, but as a parent let me tell you that this school is amazing! Staff are God-fearing people, curriculum is excellent, the music department is awe-inspiring. My daughter learned to play the violin fast and beautifully. My daughters love their school and never want to move.I can go on and on about how wonderful this school is but I will let you find out by yourself.

This school has really been a blessing to our family. Most of the teachers really pour into the children. They pray for them, they worship with them and they really care about the kids. The office faculty is, by fair, the best. Always professional and polite. Our international school is great too. My children now have besties in Japan and Korea. Both principles are funominal Men of Faith and patience leaders. This School family is a staple in our community.

Good school with solid christian foundation. Well supportive teachers. We love the field trips, sports fest, concerts and chapel time for kids where they have time to worship and listen to God's Word! A complete package!

Excellent academic instruction, music program, and sports teams. Several opportunities to get involved with extra-curriculars like acting, singing, and missions trips. Most staff are quite friendly,If you are planning to join the school, the sooner the better. Since it runs K-12 and class sizes are small, the kids tend to form tight-knit social groups early on which are hard to break into if you join in later grades.Bible teaching is an integral part of the curriculum and school experience. There is a weekly chapel service, memory verses, Bible classes, and each morning starts with devotional/prayer time. Students are encouraged to discuss Christian perspectives in all classes including Law, Science, History, etc.The uniforms are fine for the most part. Uniform compliance is checked semi-regularly unless you're obviously breaking the dress code. (Neon socks, eg) If you're a girl prepare to have freezing legs in the winter, though, since pants are not an option. The elementary and high school classrooms are great, aside from minor air conditioning problems. Classrooms are spacious and students have lockers or cubbies to hold their belongings when not in use. Locker cleanliness is regularly checked.(Mostly) middle school classrooms are outside the main building in what can only be described as a portable city. Rows of these portables stretch from the school building to the furthest reach of the property. The downside of these portables is their lack of running water and the fact that you must travel outside in order to use the washroom. They are also a bit colder than the building, on average.Good conduct is strictly enforced within the classroom setting, but less so in more casual settings like recess or lunch. On the playground, the language and topics you'll hear are not much different than a regular public school. Physical bullying isn't tolerated at all but teasing isn't uncommon. This is not, in my opinion, a great school for students with noticeable disabilities, partially for that reason. The academics, as aforementioned, are high-level (at least 1-2 grades ahead of public in most areas) and very competitive. Lists of grade averages (aka honour roll) are made public every term for students age 10 and up which unsurprisingly leads to much comparison and elitism. They used to be arranged by percentages but they are now done alphabetically, though everyone still knows if your average was an A, B, or C/D. Students are very likely to hear commentary from their peers about their grades and intelligence for a while after these lists are published. Bear in mind that many students here also have tutoring of some kind, so the bar is set pretty high. The music program is much the same as the academics. Music is taught in all grades but it is optional in high school. The school hosts several music concerts per year to showcase the music skills of each grade and band. They are mandatory to participate in for middle and primary school.Overall I can recommend this school to a certain kind of person. If you are strong academically or musically, it will likely be an overall good experience. If you're not, you will need to have good self-confidence or get validation from other places. If you're wondering what experience I have here:I attended this school for four non-consecutive years: so I experienced elementary, middle school and high school here. My siblings also attended for a total of about seven years between them, and I graduated from this school.

I went to this school from grade 2-5 and absolutely loved it here! The kids here were so friendly and taught very well. The S.P.I.E program (Surrey Partners In Education) is boring and unsafe. The Junior High class has very rude kids and the teachers take sides in fights all the time! It's unsafe because the kids class has an easy access to the street.Regent Christian changes every year, so you cant be completely sure if it's an amazing school. It was definitely a better place when I was younger but I'm not so sure now.
