COBS Bread Bakery

Awesome bread. Vienna sourdough is so good. Bread has real homemade flavour. Can’t eat store bought hotdog buns again after having their gourmet buns.

I bought some of their dinner rolls yesterday and they are absolutely the best!!! I made mini ham sandwiches for lunch. The bun is so delicious and has a lovely texture.

My family and I live in Milford and we have made it a family tradition to visit COBS Belleville EVERY weekend. Nothing pairs better than a blueberry scone and hot cup of coffee in the morning. HIGHLY recommend!

So happy to have a bake shop in Belleville that has whole wheat breads and buns options. We were given a sample of the lemon blueberry scones and highly recommend. We will be a regular customer for sure!! Welcome to Belleville!

We hand a loaf of white bread crust was so hard could eat it. Cinnamon roll was over cooked . Not impressed with the bakery will not go back.

Staff are lights out amazing. Worth the jump off the highway to grab some treats. The locals are lucky to have that place. I met Andrew, the owner. Guy had me laughing my guts out in seconds. You can't miss that boisterous voice anywhere. If you've past Belleville on the 401, and missed this Cobs, you've done yourself and the people in your car a disservice. Get off hwy and take a drive down to say hi to Andrew.

Delicious baked goods. My earliest memory is smelling the sweet aromas of cookies being freshly baked in an oven. Being in Cobbs, I felt like I was reliving my childhood, I immediately started giggling and ordered as much as I could. I was NOT disappointed and you won’t be either. Great service

Absolutely amazing!The staff are friendly and everything I’ve had from here has been amazing and over top delicious. If you have yet to try out this bakery out I strongly suggest you do. I will definitely be coming back and often.

In 1946, after the war, my grandfather and his brother opened a bakery in Copenhagen, Denmark. It quickly became a world renowned destination for sweets and baked goods. The brothers had reached local celebrity status and were the toast of the nation. They had plans to expand across Europe and concur the baking industry; that was until my now grandmother came along.Both brothers fell for her when she walked into the bakery for some pastries. The brothers competed immensely for her love, but ultimately my grandfather out bested his brother. This caused a giant rift between the brothers and the bakery collapsed along with all their baking hopes and dreams.My grandfather never baked a day in his life again until 2016 when he finally put my grandmother in a home. He baked up some of the best breads and scones I had ever tried. He passed 2 years later and I thought I would never eat scones that good again; until I went to COBS Bread in Belleville yesterday. What an experience, I loaded up on as much baked goods as I could fit into my Toyota Yaris. My grandfather and his scones may be gone, but I will never forget my first time going to COBS Bread in Belleville.

I was excited to hear there was a Cobs opening in Belleville, because I loved the one in Guelph, where I used to live. The staff was great, but sadly the scones were over-baked to the point of tasting burnt and being hard, not the soft, light scones I was used to in Guelph. Maybe I went on a bad day, but perhaps something for the bakers to keep an eye on. I’ll pass in future.
