Can't say enough about the DBL disposal Parksville staff & facility. Friendly staff, amazing selection of quality soils & gravel. Convenient drop off for a wide range of waste, garbage, wood/yard waste and Recycle. Keep up the good work guys !!

Wont be going back to Parksville DBL until guy at Payment booth/weigh scale is gone!! Given this place THOUSANDS over this last yr and more in 2021...Not after today!! Sorry DBL! Will drive to another town first before goin back there!! RUDEST PERSON!! Other patrons there today can back me up on that!! Ive even stood up for him to other people at dump bins roasting him b4...But never again..WONT BE BACK! And will tell everyone I know to do the same!

Borderline the worst customer service time and time again.We’ve given DBL so many chances over the years and every single time we leave we are more and more disappointed. The staff members who we have dealt with genuinely make you feel like you do not belong in their business and refuse to be helpful. Incredibly rude, short and down right mean to customers. I hope for DBL’s sake that management takes a hard look at who they have on their front lines. Please do better.

The man running the loader (with the beard) is extremely unhelpful. Doesn’t make eye contact at all and when you have a question he makes no attempt to help and drives off. We have had several experiences here with him working and each time is the same. Would be better suited not interacting with customers.

The worker at the booth was really adamant. We come here all the time and we have never had to fill out a sheet and have marked drywall" with a timestamp.Every other dump between here and Ladysmith doesn't require this. Even other employees at this location don't ask this of us. Its a huge waste of time and my boss isn't paying us to hand bomb a DUMPTRUCK."

I don't know what people are having a problem with, I have been getting soil and landscape material here for a few years. I always find the people in the booth and all the loader drivers friendly and helpful. The loader drivers are all very skilled at what they do. Maybe people need to realize they get what the give. This is a very busy place so I can understand someone like a loader operator not having the time to help people pick the best product for their application. If you don't know what you need then maybe hire a landscape company to help you out.

Great people that work at this location. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I get any of the soil products here, it is always full of weeds. You will have weeds in a week. Great place to dispose of mostly anything at a price.
