Such a lovely little spot, the campsite is spot on. Drop toilets no showers so be ready to have a stand up wash but the lady at the office is lovely and she sells ice creams ☺️

Beautiful area- wished we had more time to secure a campsite and stay a few days! Beautiful water views and huge Douglas firs!

Gail and Pat, the camp hosts were exceptional. They were friendly and worked hard to help everyone. Our small group had a great time. Ocean views for 20 bucks a night and great staff, what more do you need.

Beautiful oceanfront site. Was easy to drop in on a weekend for a site. There are oceanfront firerings available (unless fire ban in effect). Lots of interesting ocean wildlife. Oceanfront sites didn't have very much privacy. Lots of wind exposure (other less windy sites available if you're worried about tent). Not necessarily a fault of the campsite, but there was an excessive amount of dog noise from other campers, late into the night and early morning.Toilets: OuthousesShowers: NoReception: Full ReceptionLTE from the beach.Bugs: 4/10. Not many along ocean front, but more further inlandBears: YesFirewood: I believe typically available onsite, however recent visit had a fire ban.

Great management and beautiful sites. This was the one place we didn't have any rain while camping! Beautiful beachfront sites. We even got to listen to some sea lions down the way. There is also a Creek that flows through. I really enjoyed seeing the gigantic Douglas fir tree.

We showed up late after arriving with the last ferry from Powell River. It was marked Full" but fortunately the gentleman at the gate discovered there was a "no-show" and got us a marvelous spot for our campervan. The outhouse is the nicest and cleanest I have ever seen anywhere. It doesn't even smell bad in there. Be aware there are no showers or bathrooms. Nice day-picnic area. Many beachfront campsites

Beautiful ocean shoreline campground, very well managed. It was very enjoyable to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and take a stroll on the rocky beach in the morning. The management are very kind people (thank you for the reservation late at night). There are boat launches, picnic tables, pretty restauration areas on the shoreline, a long rocky beach, a lot of shades areas with tall trees, and you see multiple mountains across the ocean. It’s a beautiful campground; I recommend staying there or stoping there for a walk.

The price is right especially for being next to the ocean. The caretaker is very nice and keeps the campground very clean and has firewood if you need it. Unfortunately the campsites and the fire pits are really close to each other so it can be loud especially if your neighbours like to talk a lot and have dogs that bark at every moment.
