I am a first timer at this well established restaurant. Whenever I walked by it, it was always busy. So, used Mother's Day as an excuse to try it. It was ok. I found it a bit disappointing. Being a Greek restaurant, one tends to order Greek salad and grilled chicken. Those are the two must have in most Montreal Greek restaurants. It is probably your best bet. The portions are nice. Meals come with soup or salad, steamed veggies, potatoes, fries or rice.Started with squah soup. Unfortunately, it needed seasoning. We ordered a Greek salad for the table. It was cut into tiny pieces with lots of feta and a light dressing. For the mains, we had one grilled chicken plate and one grilled chicken and shrimp plate. The chicken breast was very thin and slightly over cooked, therefore, it was dry. Well spiced bit too salty. As for the shrimp, they were very good but I could hardly see them on the plate. There were 3 but really really small. I was not happy. The veggies were cooked to perfection. They consisted of broccoli and carrots. Because I don't like cooked carrots I asked that they be omitted from my plate. I thought I would get more broccoli but I was wrong. The fries were delicious and the potatoes were large chunks.Once dinner was over I notices that the table cloth that was under the paper covering was dirty with dries lettuce and so.eone had cleaned their chocolate, I hope it was from chocolate cake, fingers on the table cloth that was never changed. Yuk.All in all, considering the reviews from others, not those posted, I was disappointed.

Good service. Nice atmosphere. Mostly senior clientele. I ordered linguini in rosee sauce with shrimp. 24.99 including soup or salad. I chose salad. I asked for penne instead of linguini but was told that was not possible. Received my salad quickly (5 mins) it was fresh and good but there waa very little dressing and no seasonings (salt pepper spices) which i like. Received my main course about 6 mins after I finished my salad. Look at the pictures. The first 3 mouth fulls tasted great! The 6 large shrimp were cooked to perfection! The pasta was cooked ok. The sauce was basically olive oil, butter and maybe some cream. I did not taste or see tomatoes at all. I asked for parsley to help cut the heavy fat content of the dish. The waitress brought me some. I ate all the delicious shrimp but could not eat the pasta. It was way to greasy/fatty for me and lacked any tomatoe taste. 5 out of 9 at our table ordered pasta. 4 Rominoff and one Rosee. We were unable to eat our meal because it was way too greasy. I asked if i could have more (tomato) sauce put on my pasta and was told no. The chef will not accommodate special requests. The cafe aux lait is delicious!!!

My first time here. Exceptionally Friendly staff, great food. Chef came out personally to greet us and make sure we were ok. Fast service. Budget friendly. Great location.

Got the dinner for 2. 100$ a little pricey. Service was mah, had to ask for enough bread for all invited water and open the wine since you are allowed to bring your own wine. The soup was delicious and the desert was also tasty.

Stopped here while traveling through Montreal and it was fantastic. We arrived late and they kept the kitchen open for us and the food was awesome. Service was great also.

The atmosphere of the restaurant for exceeds the quality of the food and the surface. It's presented as a white tablecloth restaurant but has comparatively speaking for a Saturday night restaurant during covid-19 excessive pricing, it has very low prices. A whole dining experience with a 20% tip and 15% come back. Taxes was about $52. That's because we ordered the tire full meal included menu. Even with those lower prices, for the quality and presentation and lack of experience of the staff, as well as the frightened paranoid inquiry by the either chef owner or whoever he was, that didn't say, it's was not a great experience. Their lentil soup is excellent and they're espresso smells great. Everything else in the middle was not great. A slice of orange from a carrot that was 50 times normal size and a giant head of broccoli. The size I've never seen before. Calamari that was so chewy that I couldn't even chew it. The dessert apple cobbler cake was simply cooked apples cutting the square with giant apple pieces and a bit of cobblered dressing on top of it. Most of the meal in between the soup and the dessert and coffee really wasn't okay. There's plenty of room for improvement but when I paid double the price and another restaurant elsewhere just a few days before it's was 10 times. The better quality and far better service.Even the chair on the table I was sad at with my partner had the pieces coming out of the chair and wobble like crazy and I probably would have had the chair collapse. Appearance was great but content wasn't. They have lots of room for improvement and I hope they do. They seem like nice young people but rather clueless and a bit bizarre in there food choices of presentation and appearance

Visited on a Saturday evening with reservations (highly recommended on Saturday evenings at least) for an early supper. Although we had reserved and the restaurant was empty, we were seated next to the serving area/kitchen. We couldn't hear ourselves over the voices of the employees. Our server offered us a better table, sensing our discomfort. But why these tables exist and why they were offered to people who thought to reserve was frankly insulting. So aside from the fact that they are lacking in manners, the food is spectacular. I had the mussels appetizer with white wine and garlic. They were possibly the best mussels I have ever tasted. My wife had the grilled sea bass and I had the grilled octopus. The sea bass was tender and flavourful. The octopus was certainly the best I have ever tasted in my entire life: tender, delicious, and grilled to perfection (see photos). Our server was charming and professional. I will definitely go back: they have a special on mussels on Wednesday nights!

They didn't find our reservation originally and she had to look again and then they tried seating us by the front door without a wind stop secondary door and I didn't want to have people standing in front of me waiting to be seated or having the winter the cold kick in and that wasn't great seating. So I asked for a replacement as we were the first people there just before 6:00 p.m. when our reservation was for and she sat us beside the bathroom. The lentil soup was good and the decaf cappuccino smelled quite nice. The size of the vegetables were basically like it was from some dinosaur prehistoric place where everything is humongously big and way bigger than it should be. And so it is one broccoli and a wedge of part of a circle of a carrot at covered most of the plate! I originally ordered the salad and my partner the soup. The soup was good lentil but the salad was as tiny little unobtrusive bowl with six pieces of some vegetables and half of it greens. It was no salad at all. The breaded calamari or squid was uneditable and I actually had to extradite the larger piece for my mouth cuz I couldn't even chew it. My food partner said try the little ones. They're not too bad. That's how good they were. Not too bad. The overall dining experience with kind of non-restaurant people service and the chef owner showing up on our table in a scary faced way going. Is everything okay? Obviously it wasn't, must not have had any clue that this was subpar stuff across the board except for the soup and the espresso and which part of this was supposed to be Greek grill. Anyhow? We have Greek grills throughout Montreal and this was definitely subpar. Sorry for the negative review but this is the first negative review of a restaurant I've ever given. And it's well earned. Too bad.
