Romantic Planet Vacations

We used Corinne Wilson with Romantic Planet Vacations and I cannot say enough good things about her. She helped us plan the wedding and choose the destination. We chose the Riu Palace in Los Cabos Mexico. she was very knowledgeable about the hotel and destination. She answered very question from us and our group of 40 people who went away. She always responded in a timely manner and was very professional. We would definitely recommend her to future clients looking to plan a destination wedding. Thanks again Corinne!!

We booked our wedding to Punta Cana with Romantic Planet Vacations and brought our closest friends and family. The wedding was exceptional and the trip was fun for all. The owner of the agency made sure we were well looked after. They really seem to care about their clients. Planning a wedding is obviously a very stressful time and Romantic Planet Vacations helped us every step of the way in answering our questions to ensure for a fantastic trip. I was very pleased utilizing their support and I'd highly recommend using Romantic Planet Vacations to anyone planning a destination wedding.

Avoid Romantic Planet at all costs unless you want a host of undue stress and tears on your wedding day.- Ignoring our photographer when she said she couldn't find her flight reservation but could find her husband's, leading them to be left behind and costing the couple a suprise $600 to get them there.- Almost stranding the bride and groom with their small children in Toronto due to further negligence. (Groom fixed the issue, NOT Romantic Planet)- Nobody answers phones on weekend despite them booking clients to fly out on weekends, so if there are any issues (like above) you are completely and utterly on your own.- Communications slow to a crawl as soon as payment is recieved and if anything goes wrong it's a cyclical game of pass the buck.Absolutely abhorrent serviceBook things yourself before hiring Romantic Planet.

First off want to say how appreciative I am to have had Michele as our travel agent. This was my very first trip ever (Dominican republic) via plane and an all inclusive. (Riu Bambu) It went so smooth, having 24/7 connection at any time with Michele took some stress off. She went above and beyond, me and my husband had a blast with the excursions and hotel staff were accommodating. We will be booking yearly with Michele from Romantic Planet and look forward to it! ❤️ if you’re looking for the best in the business I highly recommend Michele!

We booked our first family vacation with Danaé from Romantic Planet Vacations to Rio Hato, Panama. Not only was she knowledgable, friendly and cost savvy, she went above and beyond in preparing us for a vacation with our 8 month old. She provided us with information and flying packages that would benefit our needs, contacting the hotel with requests (or advising us on what to ask once we got there). Danaé and Romantic Planet Vacations were simple to contact, navigate and provided us with everything we needed to feel confident with our trip.

I normally never write reviews whether good or badhowever i felt the need to express our experience to warnothers before making the mistake in booking with them.Im not writing just to vent, I want others to truly understandwhat a poor unethical company they really are. I mean atthe end of the day im dumb for continuing to book throughthem even after reading some poor reviews however i thoughti would give them the benefit of the doubt. PLEASE learnfrom my mistake.We found them online for booking our destination wedding.We went into their Burlington office and everything seemedcompletely normal until we chose our Punta Cana destinationthat is when everything went down hill. Not only were theyabsolutely NO help but they lied to us and our guests.One of the biggest issues is because of their highturn overrate( probably due to their lack of morals) we dealt with3 agents before the manager of the Calgary office took overour account. Each agent had different things to say to usand our guests regarding the trip. For example: the second agenttold our guests if they paid in advance before the due dateshe would get a discount off of her taxes for paying in full priorto it being due. COMPLETE LIE. She denied saying that andthe other agents plus manager said there was nothing theycould do.Another example: The agent PLUS manager told my husband and I ANDmy sister the same thing that if we had enough guests to come onthe trip that when we got back we would get reimbursed the price of 1 ticket because of the amount of guests booked. ALSO untrue we had 18 guests! 2 of which are under 2 so 16 paid tickets! Now the manager is claiming that it ha to be 16 adults based upon double occupancy. We had 2 rooms that were triple occupancy so it doesnt count for us to be reimbursed the initial agreement.All and all one of the WORST companies and would never recommend them .PLEASE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE!

My husband and I wanted a special vacation away to celebrate our 20th wedding Anniversary. We contacted Corinne Wilson-Daly of Romantic Planet Vacations and she took care of all the details for us. She booked us in at the RIU Republica, Adults only in Punta Cana. She made them aware that we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arrival to our room we were greeted with a welcome letter congratulating us, a bottle of champagne, a fresh bag of coffee for us to take home, a souvenir mug and pen. The hotel and food was amazing and we had such a wonderful time. Corinne made booking the trip a breeze and had everything set up online for us to access at anytime for payments etc. We would definately recommend Corinne Wilson-Daly and Romantic Planet Vacations for anyone wanting to book a vacation with a reputable and qualified travel agent. Thanks again Corinne for helping us to make our 20th a memorable one!
