Grandview Tire & Auto Centre

My first experience here was great, with good service and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, my second experience was quite poor. I paid $300 the first time (in April 2022) to swap four tires onto new rims and replace two pressure sensors. I had to get the next two sensors replaced. When I called to book the service I was not told a price but was told I would be sent an estimate. I never received the estimate but assumed (I think quite fairly) it would be far less than the original work since much less was being done.It cost over $350 to have less work completed. The staff told me AFTER the work was done and after I had paid that I should have waited to do it with my next rotation or other tire work.I wanted to support a local business but this was quite disappointing and the pricing does not seem appropriate for the scope of work. I appreciate that prices have gone up everywhere, but I don’t think it should ever cost more money to have less work done a mere 8 months later. I don’t think I will go back.

He went above and beyond the clutch I needed replaced, and even cleaned my car, inside and out. Work and parts warrantied for a year! Incredibly welcoming, professional, and communicative, making sure I knew everything going on from start to finish. Highly recommend! I'll never go to another mechanic!

All the positive comments seem to be targeting the previous owner. The new owner doesn't seem to be able to fill their shoes as I saw with the more recent comments. I thought I'd still give them a chance, but I definitely regret it. They completely stripped my bolts and damaged my rims during a routine tire change. When confronted, they refused to take blame and tried to charge me $350. Will not be returning.

Service of a mom pop store , prices of a big box store but better.I’ve been twice, replacing run-flats, both times service was impressive, quoted price was cheaper than the competition.

Came today and the past 2 times to change my tires. Fast service and very friendly mechanics/workers. Was in and out in less than 45 minutes, fast service even though I arrived unannounced. Came here because i needed a proper job done to safely change my tires off the rim and they have the proper tools for it. If you have a nice set of rims, this is a pretty good shop to change your tires at. They let me know i had a crack on the inside of one of my rims, they let me know exactly why i should fix it and told me to look for a rim restorer/welder to fix the crack for my safety. I have only been here twice for tire changes but was very satisfied with the service. It also seems like they value giving good service which i like as well. I would HIGHLY recommend going to this shop over shops like Kal Tire, Fountain Tire and Mr Lube.

The owner was very attentive and even participated in my vehicle repair. He was very quick to resolve my issues. We even had time to talk about local restaurants and each others lives.

I made an appointment for Jul 29 two weeks prior and even confirmed the appointment. On the day of the appointment I bring my car and arrange a lot of plans around the repair. But the shop is closed and on the voicemail it says that they are closed till august 12th. No warning or communication on their side about this. Good people working there and honest. Just horrible communication. Now I have to rearrange all of my plans and look for another shop.

I brought my my truck here to get some suspension and brake work done which I a previous shop deemed very critical". The guys at grandview inspected my truck and SHOWED me what I needed. These are trustworthy guys who get the right things done. Thank you."

This used to be my go to place for seasonal tire swap and oil change, but the change in ownership has been a real drag. I had an oil change and tire swap performed here back in October 2022, I was shocked that it was over $600 for that service. The same service from the previous management was ~$200, just 6 months earlier.My real grievance, though, is that they over torqued some of the lug nuts. Took my vehicle to a Costco tire center to find this out, they recommended me to go to a mechanic. So I called Grandview Auto to tell them all this and I wanted them to fix this problem they made. Guy on the phone was nice, said they’d take responsibility, and he would call me back. Never heard back, so I went to my dealer instead. They were able to get the wheels off and they also confirmed one wheel was over torqued beyond the manufacturer’s specification. As I expected, they broke a stud in the process, which was a $130 fix.Ironically, my dealer was able to do an oil change, swap the tires, and fix Grandview Auto’s horrible prior job for less than half what I was original charged by Grandview Auto. Folks, I cannot stress enough that there are better shops out there.Been about a week as of this post. Still waiting for Grandview Auto’s phone call to take that responsibility.

This used to be my go to shop under the previous owners. They did good work at a fair price. Thought I might give the new owners a try for a tire repair.Just tried to book an appointment using their Facebook system the day before I wanted to bring it in. I received no response to the booking request, and calling them left me on hold for 15 minutes with no response. I guess they wont be getting my business after all, which is unfortunate as it was convenient in terms of their location to me.
