Princess Twin Cinemas

I went to see Nightmare Alley in black and white and it was a great experience!This cinema has a fantastic selection of films that aren't shown in large chain cinemas. They also show previews of local businesses and display art by local artists to support them. This combined with the classic aesthetic of the building and the auditorium makes it feel very cute and comfortable. It made for an excellent date!Not to mention the service from the staff was excellent; they were very excited and passionate about the film we were about to see, making the experience more fun. It was very apparent that the regulars love this place.Additionally, the auditorium, lobby, and washrooms are kept very clean and the seats were comfortable.Overall, it was wonderful and I'm looking forward to going back again!

It was a great experience! The theatre is small and we went on opening night of Asteroid City. The theatre was completely full and I would suggest showing up early as there is no assigned seating. I was also impressed with the number of people that came solo. It really shows how the audience really enjoys seeing films!

The staff was excellent, however, the overhead lights remained on during the film and were directed towards me, making it difficult to focus on the movie. It was not the usual experience and was somewhat distracting.

My favorite independently owned movie theatre. Comfortable seats, reasonably priced snack bar.

An amazing local venue to watch new and old movies. Theaters are larger than expected and well maintained. Full snack bar with wine, beer, and cider options. Enthusiastic staff and well maintained building. We were very excited about this theater, especially with the decor and marketing.

Definitely a major reason to visit Uptown. It has a great selection of movies, especially when combined with the older cinema across the street. You can get a beer or a glass of wine, along with the regular assortment of movie treats. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s relatively modern and clean inside, with very good sight lines for watching.

My favourite movie theatre. You feel like you're going to something special when you go to the Princess. Love the movie selections they choose. Love the special types of snacks they have. The Princess Café is incredible in its own right...and you can bring their food into the theatre. You should keep an eye on what they have playing because it's worth always checking out.
