Dr JJ is the best! He's the most knowledgeable naturopathic doctor in Toronto by a long shot. He's personable, kind and empathetic to your needs. He is also a wealth of knowledge and highly intelligent. I got so much better working with him, getting results in my health that I though were impossible to achieve. His staff were great as well. Highly recommend!

Not very often I would write a second review …but it’s warranted here. Having been diagnosed with cancer last year, I wanted to build in an integrative approach to my path. Having done a lot of reading and a referral from a wonderful Nurse Practitioner…Dr JJ is my Naturopath. I wanted to say something specific here…and I want to express this is my own opinion and experience. You have to give supplements and complimentary therapies a chance. They don’t fix you over night. It take a bit of time. I had a few side effects as a result of radiation/chemo. Some I still have, but there are a couple that in recent weeks have gone away. I fully believe my immune system is now top notch and the supplements I take that were specific to a couple of my side effects were bang on. I’m so pleased and in awe of Dr JJ’s knowledge and approach. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Dr JJ is one of a kind he is caring and compassionate and truly wants to help his patients with getting to the root cause of their illness. He works with an amazing collaborative team and takes the time to Listen to his patients needs. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone who Is struggling with a chronic health issue that has not been able to find any answers #askdrjj

Dr. JJ has been a super nice and all-round amazing towards me and my health issues. I feel like he personally cares about me and my health each time I see him. His friendly and understanding demeanor makes it very comfortable to deal with my issues which has made it much easier for me to seek treatment and get help. I like going to the clinic as the staff are very nice and the environment is private and unintimidating.

For a few years now I have been seeing JJ for just general health checkups and maintenance. He's just like my family physician now. But just over a year ago my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She went through all the regular treatments and hospital visits. They were able to get rid of it and she's now in remission. If you know anyone who's ever had cancer, you know how they look and feel after beating it. I started to bring my mom to see JJ for post cancer support visits and treatment plans to help her get back to her normal feeling self as quickly as possible.She's looking and feeling almost her past self again and her diet and lifestyle is so much better. Dr. JJ makes her laugh and smile a lot because he's got so much personality and you can see he really cares. She was a bit skeptical at first but Dr. JJ explains how well both the standard medical system and naturopathic medicine actually work so well together for many health issues.And since JJ is also an expert in pharmaceutical science, he's very knowledgeable with the standard cancer treatment protocols and the medications patients have to take.

My appointments with Dr. JJ are always great. He takes the time to talk to you about every concern you have. He is also very different from any other naturopath or MD I’ve seen. He treats you holistically, and looks at all of your symptoms as opposed to just treating one problem. He listens, and creates a treatment plan that caters to all of your health issues. I’ve been seeing him for gut issues among other things, and I would definitely recommend him! His reception team is also very helpful.

I have seen 15+ medical professionals, as well as tried countless protocols/treatments, in efforts to address my severe IBS. It got to the point where I was barely eating one meal per day just to reduce symptoms. Dr. JJ was the only one who listened to my symptoms with empathy and provided a personalized treatment plan. While it has only been 4-5 months, I am feeling better than I have in years and am now able to eat again with little to no discomfort. I am very thankful to have met Dr. JJ and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone.

I strongly believe that Dr. JJ doesn’t need reviews to succeed or prosper, what makes him exceptional, different and special are innate qualities that one might possess or not, especially in the medical field. Therefore, this review is for those people looking for a truly knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate and compassionate doctor, a thoughtful, careful and friendly person/professional, always there to listen, help, find and propose solutions that would accommodate any medical needs or budget. My chronic health condition requires regular adjustments on the go and Dr. JJ has always and easily stood up to the challenge. I feel safe and very well looked after in terms of all medical needs and concerns I might have. Dr. JJ is also modest and respectful, open to any questions or suggestions if for the best health and well being of the patient. I would highly recommend Dr. JJ for any effective, trustworthy and lasting doctor-patient relationship. His sense of humor, in pills or IV is therapeutic as well, a big plus!
