Most people will convey that building a home is very stressful. Not with Rockhaven. We enjoyed every step of the process. Both their staff and their suppliers were responsive and professional. The project plan, including decisions points, were confirmed before the build began, allowing us ample time to finalize selections. Our foreman was always available to answer our questions and continues his support 5 years after the build. Last but not least, we finished on-time and on-budget. It was so much fun to build our dream home with this team. We'd do it again tomorrow.

It is hard to find the proper words to express our utmost appreciation and gratitude for everyone at Rockhaven Homes that was integral in designing and building our dream home.We had owned vacant property for several years while we contemplated what our dream home would look like and how it should feel for our family. While we enjoyed our time planning countless versions of our dream home in our minds, the thought of actually designing and building our home was somewhat daunting - enter Rockhaven Homes!We were familiar with Rockhaven from their builds in the community and in speaking with many of their clients; all of whom gave exceptional endorsements. We decided to meet with Rockhaven first based on their reputation and then meet with other builders after. In our first meeting with Rockhaven it became clear that Rockhaven was going to be the builder to make our dream home a reality. Our meetings with other builders were quickly cancelled.We had certain ideas for our home, but this mostly consisted of a smattering of floorplans we found online and our hand written wish list. Through the Design Plus Program we worked with Rockhaven and their talented architect to create the plans for what would become our dream home. At this stage Rockhaven then carefully prepared an itemized budget and timeline for construction, which was adhered to throughout – somewhat of a rarity in the building industry.When the time came to select home finishes, Rockhaven worked hand-in-hand with their preferred vendors who were easy to deal with. Once construction began, Rockhaven was in constant communication with us providing much appreciated updates for the work completed and the work to be done. We developed an excellent working relationship with Rockhaven’s principals, support staff and construction crew as our home began to take form.Building a dream home is a significant life experience and choosing the right home builder is a critical life decision. Rockhaven, through their professionalism and dedication, turned our intimidation of the build process into comfort. We always knew we were in good hands. We cannot recommend Rockhaven Homes highly enough. If you are looking for honest and hard working professionals with extensive expertise to build your dream home then please, cancel any meetings with other builders and hire Rockhaven. It will be one of the best decisions of your life!

My wife and I hired Rockhaven Homes to complete a ~700 sq ft addition along with renovations to the main house. Jesse and his team were very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. They communicated the process well from working through design to final build. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the results and know we will utilize our new space for years to come.

Dealing with Rockhaven from start to finish was an absolute pleasure. From the initial meeting, they listened to what we liked about our current home, and what features we wanted that we didn't have. Once preliminary plans were done, working with them to tweak some details until we were completely satisfied with the vision was easy. From demolition of the old house to delivery of the new build, their schedule matched to the day what they had promised. Believe it or not, they also came in under budget. Post delivery support was top notch as well. Any minor issues were resolved immediately, and they kept in touch to make sure we were happy. When we first made the decision to undertake developing a dream cabin in the woods , neither of us realized the enormity of developing a home on 27 acres with 6 ponds - governed by the Grand River Conservation Authority .
