Check in was very smooth and friendly. The plane was slightly delayed but only by a few minutes. Air Canada Staff were both efficient and friendly. Only water was included, but I managed to purchase a beer and some nuts for a reasonable price. I didn't have to wait long to collect my bags.

I flew from New Delhi to Montreal on Feb 16 with flight AC51. I was in business class for the first time with Air Canada. I have to say I was not impressed with the service, the flight was 17 hours and every of the air hostesses had attitude. The only air host that helped me was Richie, he was very kind and when he saw me asking a passenger to help me with my carry on, he came running over to help. My screen wasn’t working for 8 hours of the flight, I told her air hostess and she said she will reset the screen which she did, but never once came back to see if it worked. It didn’t work again, however I waited it out till breakfast which was the last hour of the flight. I let her know again, and then she reset it and it worked. Also during breakfast they did not have the entree that was promised for breakfast which was egg and potatoes I believe, instead of telling us right away they kept saying the entree is coming and then came around asking if we wanted the entree when a lot of us said yes, they told us they don’t have it and only have chapati at the moment which in no way is breakfast. At the end of my flight, I let the air hostess know that I am pregnant with some complications, if someone can help get my carry-on down. The first air hostess said she has back problems which I completely understand. The second one said next time check it in as this isn’t our job, I let her know I have medical equipment in there and that it’s 7 pounds, is there anyone on the air craft that can help? She said sure I can help but just to let you know, you have to check it in. I told her I spoke to air Canada customer service when I bought this ticket and asked if someone would be able to help. If I had seen Richie I would have asked him.My second flight was delayed twice due to some issues with the air craft, however they got us on the flight around 3 PM. This flight was to Vancouver from Montreal on AC 305. I asked a flight attendant to help with the bag, and he said no problem and I thanked him as most of them had said no in the past. I believe his name was Afidit, he was also very kind. Overall my experience was not good; the lounge in Delhi and in Montreal were both uncomfortable, the food was cold, the only thing good was ginger ale. I paid around $6800 for this flight so I definitely do not think it was worth it. I thought staff would be kinder, because usually in economy they aren’t however it was even worse during business. Not sure if it was a racial issue, I could not pin point why the staff had so much attitude especially during my first flight. However this will be the last time I fly with Air Canada.

I would do my outmost best not to use this airline. They have the name but don’t play the game. When we complained to the manager that they cancelled our flight on the way to Vancouver and they put us on an early flight on the way back, causing us to lose TWO days from our vacation, she said that Air CAnada follows the same guidelines as Ryan Air!!!!! Nothing she can do.That says it all… don’t fly Air Canada

Our family is travelling with multi city flights and we needed several luggage tags. The service help desk people were so petty in giving us the luggage tags. Rather than asking what we needed, they just assumed things on us. We did not pay all that money for them to be so petty with something so small like luggage tags. Not impressed.

AC Priority checked in took 45+mins!!Date : 29 March 2023Flight :AC7Destination: HKGIncident: At AC’s Business Priority CounterHorrible customer service!!Arrived at the counter and the staff did not acknowledge or greet, did not provide the usual friendly and professional service we have been experiencing!!Check in clerk did not know what she was doing!! After providing her with all the necessary travel documents, she took at least 20mins before she started to communicate with me, staff was not updated with current Covid protocols of the destination and put us in a panic, later checked with another staff and her own info was wrong and did not apologize!!After having more issues with Areoplan account input, I asked her to seek help from other staffs and she proclaimed that she “is the one that knows better!” Frustrated with her attitudes, I asked to see the Manager on duty, which she was reluctant at first but after my insistence, she called and the Manager on duty came.Manager enquired of the situation and proceeded to explain to us some of the changes due to Covid etc and it’s hard for AC to hire staff etc. Being a paid customer, we are now subjected to taking the slack from mismanagement!!I have to say the Manager did try her best to resolve the situation, but this experience created a huge dent on AC’s customer service “reputation”!

I fly 3 to 5 flights a month. Majority of them are with AC, overwhelmingly positive for majority of my flights. They have delays like any other airline. Today I flew on FIN853 from Seoul to Vancouver (tail number C-FVLQ). The plane was filthy. I've never seen anything like this on any other AC plane. This was even more concerning given this is a relatively new dreamliner. The plane should be maintained in good shape.

The absolute worst airline flying today, don't fly aircanada. My experiences with aircanada has been the worst experience of my life. I don't ever want to fly again after flying with aircanada. They have left me scarred and not wanting to ever fly again. Very disappointed customer. Staff and management are rude and unhelpful. Don't fly aircanada

One of the worse air lines I’ve seen. Departed at the airport 2:45 (6:00 am) hours before the flight that was departing to chicago at 8:30 am.We arrive at the airport and there’s this big line of people waiting to check in ( they had 10 flights between 8:15 and 8:40 ). We go to the line and after 20 minutes we arrive by the computer to check in. While checking in there was some error with the computer ( it wasn’t only us that has issues ).We go to another line that has around 20 people a front of us. Keep in mind that theres only 2 people working to check you in by the counter ( for 10 flights booked at the same time) if you has an issue with the self-check in by the computer.As we waited around good 35 minutes to get checked in by a real person finally its our turn.The lady at the check in says “ One of you is checked in and one of you is not. That being said you are late for check in because the check in closed 5 minutes ago. All you can do is go to a “white phone” and try to get another flight.We told her that we waited around 55 minutes just to get to check in but the lady said “ How do you want to check in now don’t you see how big the line is to get through the gates? “.At this point I knew we are over with this flight.Now we are stock at the airport till the next day because they didn’t have any other flights.I never had experienced anything like that, specially that we’ve been 2.5 hours before our flight.

Even if it costs a few bucks more, fly any other airline.The communication for solving a flight issue is like asking your toaster for assistance with doing the dishes as it's plugged in.

1 star for the very slow, laggy website to modify your bookings which 100% gives you error message despite keeping your browser refreshed. 1 star for a very long hours waiting to speak to customer service and in which 99% all the time has zero customer service attitude and very condescending. This airline bears the Canada flag but don’t seem to fit. Such a shame to the country. Canada is a first world country but the service of this airline fits the third world country. I don’t know why it’s not even cheap to fly with all Canadian airlines yet they couldn’t even maintain their services in relation to what their customers are paying.
